Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir werden wieder kommen.
Pros:

Die sehr zentrale Lage am Meer mit der Möglichkeit, flach zu spazieren. Die Möglichkeit, in den nahegelegenen Restaurant zu essen und Einkäufe zu machen.

Prime location, lovely staff - very accommodating and every facility you could wish for in the room.

Cons:

Being extremely picky and understanding that it is very difficult to please everyone, but the evening entertainment could be better.

My stay was fine . Nothing particularly wrong with anything.
Pros:

The location was very good . Just far enough way from Funcahl centre but a very quick walk from everything you would want to do. Restaurants close by .

Cons:

I went over Christmas. The age profile of the guests was very high. The bed was 2 singles pushed togther which I never like. The pool is small but good enough. The breakfast is ok. Varied not spectaular.

Lovely indoor pool facility. Spa reception was not manned, so a bit confused about towels etc. reception explained take blue towels and robes from room, could be a bit clearer, but not a problem. Lovely massage and pool/jacuzzi. Great service throughout the hotel and reception staff particularly great. Great location to old town and fort. Bed/pillows, linen all lovely. Loved the hob and ability to self cater with cutlery and plates, pans etc

Perfektes Stadthotel
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage an der Promenade, direkt an der Altstadt und dem Fort San Tiago gelegen, wo man auch im Meer baden kann. Das Hotel ist gepflegt, das Frühstück kann im Restaurant oder auf der Terrasse eingenommen werden und ist reichhaltig. Es gibt ein Gym, Sauna, großes Hallenbad, Whirlpool... Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Dachterrasse konnten wir leider nicht nutzen (Unwetter), aber der Blick auf Hafen und Stadt schien sehr schön zu sein.
Die Tiefgarage ist kostenpflichtig.

Great resort hotel, best location and amazing staff.
Pros:

Hotel is right on the waterfront and public promenade. Located adjacent to Old Town Funchal with delicious restaurants and unique shops. Fabulous people and felt safe walking in the city. The hotel is very high quality with amazing staff, delicious buffets and nightly music. Would return to this place.
