Showers and bed are both weak

Hard to get towels and they seemed to be short staffed so staff wasn’t easily accessible

The wall were thin we could hear people talking in the hallway
And some people were yelling down the hall all night and early in the morning not the hotels fault just some people suck

Smell in the second floor and room - but not sure if it was after carpet cleaning. It was weird. Vent in the room is direct so uncomfortable.

Bathroom was not cleaned. The shower was pretty rough looking and the was black on the bottom. Also one of the beds the sheets had what looked like blood. We were able to use the other bed, which was pretty comfortable.

I stayed in the 2 queen bedroom. The pictures on line made it look a lot bigger. When we first got to our room we had a ton of hair balls and dirt right in front of our door. We were left with barely any toilet paper. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable and floors were dirty. I think there could have been a better variety for breakfast. And the taste was not good at all. Also, the kirag machines are a bad idea.

The hotel was fully booked so breakfast was a bit chaotic. This ended up being a boon as we discovered the River Raisin Trading Post for breakfast and it was superb!

Uncleanliness, pay for parking for horrible parking conditions. Landscaping very poor and clearly not maintained.

Room floors dirty, shower had mold, hallway floors not vacuumed, elevator floor dirty, and outside the front door area, building itself was dirty.

Not worth the money.

Add insult, our check-in was delayed due power outage which the hotel would not adjust the daily rate.

I was suppose to check in at 3pm and I wasn’t able to check in til 10:10pm . That made it very difficult . The kids only had a 45 mins to swim and we had to leave very early . She did after late checkout but unfortunately I couldn’t stay later .

I understand there was a storm on Friday, but the grounds areas on either end of the hotel had several used dog waste bags laying around in piles. They could have been picked up at some point, it was Monday. The a/c in the room sort of worked, but it was constantly humid in the room, most likely due to main building a/c not working. Since the a/c was out throughout the building, it made using ANY of the amenities almost impossible, which is why we chose that hotel after all. Played 2 games of pool at the pool table and was dripping in sweat, it was 81° on the thermostat on the wall. WAY too hot to use the fitness room, or the pool. The pool area was soooo hot it felt like a sauna times 10. The pterodactyl size bugs all over the walls and ceilings were atrocious. They were all over the main areas and breakfast food area because they had to keep ALL the downstairs, outside doors open just to be bareable in the hallways and common areas. Their coffee machine was broken, but they did offer an individual kruig coffee machine upon request. However, they only had decaf coffee. We had to go to the gas station and purchase cups of coffee in the morning. When checking out, and asking if there was any type of discount we were able to get due to the inconvenience of not being able to use ANYTHING that we chose the hotel on, the woman at the front desk said, "We don't do that type of thing. Stuff happens." Tru Hotel by Hilton DEFINITELY did NOT meet any type of Hilton standards in my opinion. I understand "things happen", I understand Hilton is a corporate company, therefore it may take longer to get answers on how things can be handled in situations, but NOTHING was really handled in this situation. It felt like one or two people were trying to make the situation better, but it felt like most were just like "not my job, not my issue, not my problem" kind of attitude. VERY disappointing 😞

The ac unit was out in the hall ways and lobby and it was extremely hot out during the day.and are refrigerator did not work ,and we was not able to get coffee or tea cause the machine was broken and we did not have a coffee maker in our room,

Toen wij er waren was vrijwel alles kapot, van de airconditioning in de lobby tot het koffiezetapparaat bij het ontbijt. Wij zaten blijkbaar in het vliegen-seizoen, dus overal zaten grote vliegen; van de voorgevel tot in de lobby. Ontbijt staat aangegeven als ‘goed’, maar alles was kapot; sinaasappelsap apparaat, koffiezetapparaat (geen alternatief) en yoghurt(?) machine. Er waren wat losse broodjes die je kon roosteren met een kaas-omelet of een burger, maar verder eigenlijk niets. Ik zou zeker aanraden om hotel zónder ontbijt te kiezen, en dan een ontbijtje te halen bij een van de vele fastfood ketens in de buurt.

5. Room 401 toilet keeps running with loud noises filling up.
6. Bathroom needs re-caulked and maintenance.
