Hier hat alles perfekt gepasst.
Pros:

Bei der Begrüßung hat uns Nuwan mit einer Sinnesreise empfangen, was den Empfang sehr herzlich und besonders gemacht hat. Der Service war super freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Lage des Hotels, mitten im Wald war super entspannend. Unser Ausflug zum Laxapane Waterfall war ein Traum und der Fahrer Hashan war super nett und hat mir sogar einen Blumenstrauß selbst gemacht.

Cons:

Es war alles super, keine Verbesserungsvorschläge, nur dass sie mehr Werbung machen sollten für die schöne Lage.

We had a wonderful experience at Arsulana Eco Lodge. The food was amazing, and the staff made our visit very special. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday, and they arranged a beautiful candlelight dinner along with lovely birthday decorations, which was a great surprise.❤️

Our most favorite thing about this place is the location. It is surrounded by peaceful nature, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The calm atmosphere and the delicious food made our stay even more enjoyable.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, especially for couples who want to spend some quality time together. 😊

Cons:

Everything was perfect, but the floor of the villa is very slippery. It would be better if suitable slippers were provided in the villas for guests’ comfort.

Perfect Nature Escape
Pros:

Stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it. The hotel is surrounded by jungle with a river running alongside which makes the setting very peaceful. We only stayed for one night but to really enjoy the full experience, at least two nights would be ideal. The suites closer to the river seem to have the best views. The food was delicious and authentic and the manager was very helpful and guided us throughout our stay. Highly recommended.

The location is jungle with the river alongside. Located on 3rd floor, room balcony provided excellent view and feel of bring in jungle canopy. Staff very attentive & pleasant. The Aberdeen waterfalls stunning. An additional cost, but well worth it. Discovered owner donates profits to charitable causes, including cancer hospitals. Employs local people. Made the experience a real feel-good.

Pros:

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had! The surrounding nature and buildings are so beautiful, it is such a peaceful and relaxing environment and everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful, especially Nuwan the manager who arranged everything for me, from meals to yoga to transport. I stayed here for two nights and it was the perfect start to my Sri Lanka travels. The food was incredible, some of the nicest food I’ve ever had, super fresh and authentic Sri Lankan dishes. I did a yoga class which was great and fell asleep every night to the sounds of birds and crickets. You might even see some monkeys! I would highly recommend, no faults whatsoever.

Perfekt zum Abschalten: Alleinlage, Natur, Flussblick und ein rundum herzlicher Service
Pros:

Wir haben fünf Nächte in der Arsulana Eco Lodge verbracht (ursprünglich waren nur vier geplant, aber es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir spontan verlängert haben). Die Lodge liegt wunderschön und sehr ruhig inmitten der Natur – die Alleinlage war für uns etwas ganz Besonderes und perfekt zum Abschalten.

Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön, sauber und liebevoll gestaltet, mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Fluss, in dem man sogar baden konnte.

Es werden auch Ausflüge angeboten. Wir haben einen Ausflug zu einem Wasserfall gemacht, der sehr gut organisiert war und uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen hat.

Insgesamt war die Arsulana Eco Lodge für uns einer der schönsten Aufenthalte während unserer Sri Lanka Reise. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Sri Lankan wilderness, and we were completely blown away by this place. Surrounded by nature and wildlife of all kinds, it felt like you were truly living outdoors—while still enjoying five-star accommodation. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to be around.

The food was incredible. From the fresh, delicious fruit served every morning at breakfast to the unbelievably tasty three- or four-course Sri Lankan curries we enjoyed most evenings, every meal was a highlight.

I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough. If you want to escape the chaos of big cities or busy beaches and experience peace, quiet, and tranquility in the heart of the Sri Lankan wilderness, book Arsulana Eco Lodge. You won’t be disappointed!

Ruhige Lage im Dschungel

Die Location ist der Wahnsinn. Mitten im Dschungel. Keine Touristen, kein Lärm und nur Tiergeräusche. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und die Zimmer ein Traum. Ich denke das war die schönste location zum besten Preis in Sri Lanka

Der perfekte Ort um abzuschalten

Die abgeschiedene Lage mitten im Urwald war der ideale Ort für uns den Trubel und Stress unseres Alltags hinter uns zu lassen. Das Personal war überaus zuvorkommend. Wir können die Arsulana Lodge uneingeschränkt allen Naturliebhabern empfehlen.

Pros:

Arsulana Eco Lodge is the most stunning and almost surreal property. High up in the hills, and deep down in the jungle, you find yourself surrounded by nature, animals and friendly smiles. A few steps down through the greens, the river forms the most crystal clear natural pool, and in addition to that there is a handmade pool, a sauna, a steam room, and a very well maintained shingle garden where every detail is curated with care.

The staff is so sweet and caring, the manager is always there for you, and you can tell the love they all have for the place where they work and for their guest. During Christmas they even threw a Christmas party and gifted all the guests Christmas gifts by a local Santa. The owner invests in several ecological and social projects, which makes the stay feels even more special knowing that your spent money goes to a good cause.

Don’t miss this very special place! We will keep it in our hearts throughout life.

Absolute recommendation - our insider tip about Kitulgala, Laxapana & Aberdeen Falls!

This accommodation was a real highlight for us - a place where you arrive and immediately find yourself in a different world. Located in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature sounds and an incredibly peaceful atmosphere, relaxation is really easy.

For all activities in the area, the lodge is a perfect home base: abseiling, rafting, canyoning, and trips to the Laxapana and Aberdeen waterfalls. Everything was organized by the hotel at very fair prices - including the tuk-tuk trips to the sights. You don't have to worry about absolutely anything.

The entire team was exceptionally friendly, attentive and warm. Especially the hotel manager took care of everything lovingly and proudly showed us the facility. You can feel at every corner how much attention to detail there is here.

We stayed in the main house, and our room was adorable. During the small tour of the grounds, we were surprised to find additional beautiful villas with private pools - at a really fair price for what you get there. Had we known this earlier, we would definitely have stayed longer and explored Kitulgala and Hatton completely from here.

The food was also good and freshly prepared. Many foods are harvested right outside the door.

In addition, drivers of guests also have a place to sleep.

Rainforest paradise with exceptional service
