The some of the window screens were torn but didn’t cause any issue!!

It was dirty, the furniture was run down, the appliances and bathroom were dated. The lighting was terrible including a lamp that had no lampshade. There was an area of the floor that was never cleaned and was a pool of sticky, red, chunky substance. Disgusting.

Weeds in front of building, very uneven steps, no clear signs, the bar stools were on the counter, pullout couch was open, garbage in front of door and cleaning supplies left out. The place was clean and management was responsive. A shelf also fell off the wall while we were there. Hung with basic screws and no anchors.

Parking- got back in torrential downpour and there was no place to park. It would be helpful to have some instructions for heaters, fireplace- never did figure out how to light fireplace. Needed some repairs- cover for one wall plug outlet missing, lots of dust covering filters on all heaters, a few holes in drywall, closure for barn door on BR hanging loose.

It was very hard to find, the door was not only unlocked but not shut. The biggest problem was there was no air conditioning and online the lodge site listed air as an amenity. Calling the property didn’t help, they said it was Booking’s fault although it was on their own site which the woman we talked to said was outdated. We were very disappointed and asked for a refund to go somewhere else. This was denied so we left anyway and drove to Winter Park and spend the extra money for a new air conditioned clean hotel. We would never go back there to stay.

The outside could use some fixing up. Lots of weeds, needs painting and sprucing up, just looks a little dumpy outside. The worst thing was the steps up to the second level (unit 2) the steps were gravel and timbers very uneven and not safe. My wife was recovering from a leg injury, and the steps were a definite challenge for her.

Die Lodge Nr. 8 befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und nebenan scheint eine größere Waschküche o.ä. zu sein. Man hört von nebenan die ganze Nacht ein Brummen und Dröhnen. Wer auch Nachts Ruhe sucht, sollte Lodge Nr. 8 meiden. Leider steht das nirgends dabei.
Das Mobiliar im Außenbereich schaut ziemlich alt und abgenutzt aus. Würde man hier ein bisschen was erneuern, wäre die ganze Anlage einladendender.
Parkplätze hat es theoretisch genug, wenn nicht auf dem Gelände auch die Lieferwagen der Waschküche stehen würden.
Die Angaben der Zimmergröße sind etwas irreführend. Die Logde sollte lt. Beschreibung 55qm haben. Realistisch sind es ca. 30. Vermutlich aber nur ein Umrechnungsfehler. Für 2 Personen ist genug Platz.

Listing says 600 square feet. We measured about 320 square feet. So half the size stated. No dishwasher as stated.

A few picky things... pillows were too thick. I'd bring my own next time. Could use a few more hangers and some coffee cups.

Had a bit of a rough start as no staff onsite with the inability to access my room using the code provided as well as a 'chirping' alarm. Staff was friendly and able to assist within the first hour with both issues. I don't remember if it mentioned having a stove when booking the room...would of affected what food I brought. Unfortunately, due to the heavy snowstorm decided to leave early.
