Душевный отель! Обязательно вернемся
Pros:

Однозначно рекомендую для отдыха! Мы с мужем впервые были на Бали, но далеко не впервые в Азии, поэтому есть с чем сравнивать. За свои деньги это прекрасный отель с необходимым набором удобств и безусловно бесконечно приветливым и услужливым персоналом. Главное - приехали знакомиться с новым для нас курортом и отель во многом помог сделать наш отдых незабываемым!

В зависимости от бюджета вы можете выбрать как простенький, так и шикарный номер. Наш был у дороги. В первое утро и правда проснулись под крики петухов и шум байков. Но потом выматывались так, что это не мешало совершенно. Можно было заплатить побольше и переехать чуть выше, дальше от дороги, но мы не увидели смысла.

Номер
В номере кровать, кондиционер, прикроватная тумба, шкаф (служил и сейфом, так как закрывается на замок) и столик с чайником, кружками, чаем и кофе. Нравилось вечером сидеть на диванчике на собственной террасе в окружении буйной растительности и в уединении. Это главное преимущество таких номеров. Каждый день к нам приходил крикливый миниатюрный рыжий котейка. Мы прозвали его Котушка) очень любит вискас с курочкой, молоко и чипсы. Что мы и покупали ему каждый раз с радостью.

Завтрак
Переходим через дорогу от ресепшена и мимо огромной черепахи на стене движемся на шум волн. Собственно, с видом на чудесное море и проходит прием пищи - в удовольствие! Читая про шведский стол, не вспоминайте про Турцию и Египет. НО! По азиатским меркам это очень даже приличный шведский стол! Яйца приготовят как пожелаете. Всегда есть жареные сосиски и что-то из местных блюд. То лапша, то овощи, то курочка. И отдельная радость - стол с выпечкой, блинами, панкейками, мафинами, джемами, медом. Там же и хлеб - хоть тосты, хоть кругленький из печи. Чай, кофе. И отдельная радость лично для меня, на том же столе каждое утро баночка то с йогуртом домашним, то пудинг с семенами чиа - не оторваться!
Собственно, и пообедать сюда приходили, и поужинать.

Cons:

Две недели в Амеде - это мало. В таком отеле хочется жить дольше.

Snorkel directly infront of property
Pros:

Great location can snorkel infront of the restaurant. Very friendly staff who called you by name. Good size rooms, cleaned daily. Enjoyed all our meals there. Plenty of variety for breakfast. Great deep pool. Tours are a great price direct from hotel.

Cons:

They are upgrading the bathrooms, so I'm sure a shelf and some hooks or a towel rail will be added.

It was off season in Amed and seemed very quiet but fishing and diving was available.
Pros:

Property was on both sides of the Main Street with ocean view and two pools among the rooms.
Restaurant was super for breakfast and ok for other meals; many eating choices on the street.

Cons:

Some rooms were closed for low season and the desk tried to downgrade to 2 twins when reservation was for 1 twin and 1 double; reasoning was that the type of room was closed for low season and smelled of mildew, which was changed with new sheets the next day.

Pros:

It is close to the sea and snorkeling point.
2 swiming pools in the hotel and nice view from the bar.

Cons:

There was no hot water in the shower.
To make work electricity plugs you have to turn on wall lights facing your bed shining straight in your face. It seems some reconstruction is going on. Fun note: you can tell there was no plan while constructing the place.. the various ramps in various shapes looks like a lunapark for people on wheelchair 😃 kids gona love it.

There wasn't water in shower, sometimes little. Hotel is not on the beach, only restaurant. Many steps to room. When we were leaving I heard that there are some rooms over the restaurant. Ask them if you go there

We would stay again and enjoyed our time there.
Pros:

They are located in a great area. The snorkeling is really good out front. Nice restaurant on the beach. The room was comfortable and water pressure was good with hot water. For the price we thought it was really good.

Cons:

They could clean the room better. There is a huge web just hanging down. Bathroom was a little old and they need another trash can in the room.

Pros:

L'hôtel, avec ses 2 piscines et son restaurant, est bien entretenu.
En face de la plage...
La cuisine est bonne et variée et le service impeccable.
Le personnel est très agréable , accueillant, " friendly "et la communication est facile .

Cons:

La salle de bain : la baignoire était fendue.

Pros:

Joli hôtel avec 2 piscines, un restaurant en bord de plage, un buffet avec du choix pour le petit déjeuner, situé à côté d'une agence d'extension de visa et et d'une petite supérette. Le seul bémol: les chambres sont minuscules et l'évacuation d'eau dans la salle de bain se fait mal.

Cons:

Ma chambre était vraiment petite, juste un tout petit peu de place autour du lit, et l'eau dans la salle de bain sur le sol reste toute la journée.

Would definitely choose this hotel again on future trips
Pros:

The beautiful, well-kept hotel grounds rise from the road like a terrace to a deep, clean pool. Across the street, next to the sandy beach, is the hotel restaurant, offering delicious, hearty breakfasts and second-floor rooms with seaviews. The hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and ready to assist with any travel or swimming equipment needs.

Cons:

Don't make the same mistake I did by ordering wagyu beef in the restaurant.

I spent five nights at Hotel Amed & Café, and it turned out to be one of my most relaxing stays in Bali. The location is excellent — right by the sea — and waking up to the sound of the waves never got old.

The rooms are simple but comfortable, clean, and well-suited to Amed’s laid-back vibe. What really made the stay special was the restaurant. I ended up eating there multiple times — good food, generous portions, and a very relaxed atmosphere where you don’t feel rushed.

The staff were kind and attentive, and everything felt easy and unpretentious. If you’re looking for a place in Amed that feels authentic, calm, and well-run, this is a great choice. I left feeling genuinely rested.
