Zuvorkommendes Personal macht die Nähe zur Straße wett.
Pros:

Ältere Hotelanlage, die schön samt Pool und Gewässer in den Hang und die Natur integriert ist. Köstliches Frühstück im Pavillon direkt am Meer. Meer an dieser Stelle meist glasklar und eignet sich nicht nur zum Schnorcheln, sondern auch zum Schwimmen.

Cons:

Die Straße durch Amed, an der auch das Hotel liegt, kann ab und an recht laut sein. Zur Zeit arbeiten tagsüber Handwerker an einem Bungalow.

Overall, it’s a budget-friendly stay with great service and location, but with room for improvement.
Pros:

Amed Cafe & Hotel Kebun Wayan was my first accommodation when staying in Amed. I later found out that it’s one of the oldest hotels or homestays in the area, which made me appreciate even more the value and quality I received for the price.

First of all, the parking area is located right in front of the hotel, with several spots for cars and plenty of space for motorcycles.

Upon entering the hotel, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. The front desk even offered us a room tour before we decided, which was a nice touch. Some room options didn’t quite match our preferences, so we chose the budget room instead. It was located on the upper level and offered a lovely sea view right from the room’s entrance.

The room itself was clean. While it didn’t have a modern design, it was still very comfortable for our stay.

Overall, the hotel is very convenient, with many restaurants and dive centers nearby, making it a great base for exploring Amed.

Cons:

The only downside of this hotel was the shower and bathroom. The bathroom itself was quite spacious, but mine had an opening where I could see into the room above, which was a drawback.

Additionally, the hot water heated up very quickly and couldn’t be adjusted to a comfortable temperature. It often became too hot, making the shower experience uncomfortable.

ロケーションは抜群。海の目の前。スタッフは最高に素晴らしい。レストランが有り朝食もビュッフェでとても美味しい。シュノーケリングをする私には最高の場所です。朝食食べて海に入り、ウミガメと泳ぎ、ビンタンを飲む。マッサージして、プールで泳ぎ、昼寝して、夕日を見ながら夕飯を食べる。どこにも行く必要が有りません。最高の場所です。来年も楽しみです。

L'emplacement à quelque mètre des tortues ,l'infrastructure ,le bar et les 2 piscines très propres. Mais surtout la gentillesse de toute l'équipe qui a toujours un moment pour parler avec vous et vous donne l'impression de ne pas être juste un client de passage ! Bravo !
Le petit déjeuner est un buffet très garni ,délicieux et différent tous les matins
Le risque c'est qu'on a plus envie de partir !^

Exceptional value
Pros:

It's a hidden gem in Bali. Peaceful, abundant breakfast, pools, nice staff, strong wifi. What else do you want?

Cons:

It is not a five-star hotel, nobody says that, and they are still working on renovation. But it is a very good value in a nice environment.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Es ist wirklich an allen Ecken extrem renovierungsbedürftig, egal ob Zimmer, Bäder, die Anlage selbst. Es ist für Amed zwar zentral gelegen, liegt jedoch an einer großen viel befahrenen Straße.
Alle Zimmer liegen oberhalb der Straße und sind extrem hellhörig.
Auch Amed selbst ist leider sehr dreckig, mehr als 2-3 Nächte, zum schnorcheln, braucht man hier nicht verbringen.

I’m not a difficult customer, but it’s been years since I haven’t stayed at a place that gave me such grievances. First, contrary to the location on Booking’s map, it’s actually not on the sea front, but on the other side of the road. Just the restaurant and the spa are between the road and the beach, which is highly misleading. I got a room upgrade thanks my Genius status, but they still wanted to put me a room right by the road. There was literally my room door, a path, a bush, and the road where vehicles pass really fast and noisily. I asked to change and they asked me 100k more per night. I said ok and they put me in the building above, but since it’s above the road, it was still noisy. The room was so dark that you had to turn on the light during the day. It was impossible to get any flow of air, which resulted in a very humid room with clamy sheets. Even my clean clothes were humid after 2 nights spent there. The wifi wasn’t working, so they moved me to another room, slightly better noise-wise, but which lacked basic amenities. The bathroom was huge, but completed empty, there wasn’t even a towel rack, furniture to put my toiletries on or even a mirror! They don’t provide hand soap, you have to cross the wet shower to get to the shower gel. The staff was nice, especially at the restaurant, but I would never recommend this hotel, I’ve stayed in homestays half the price that had better amenities!

Однозначно рекомендую для отдыха! Мы с мужем впервые были на Бали, но далеко не впервые в Азии, поэтому есть с чем сравнивать. За свои деньги это прекрасный отель с необходимым набором удобств и безусловно бесконечно приветливым и услужливым персоналом. Главное - приехали знакомиться с новым для нас курортом и отель во многом помог сделать наш отдых незабываемым!

В зависимости от бюджета вы можете выбрать как простенький, так и шикарный номер. Наш был у дороги. В первое утро и правда проснулись под крики петухов и шум байков. Но потом выматывались так, что это не мешало совершенно. Можно было заплатить побольше и переехать чуть выше, дальше от дороги, но мы не увидели смысла.

Номер
В номере кровать, кондиционер, прикроватная тумба, шкаф (служил и сейфом, так как закрывается на замок) и столик с чайником, кружками, чаем и кофе. Нравилось вечером сидеть на диванчике на собственной террасе в окружении буйной растительности и в уединении. Это главное преимущество таких номеров. Каждый день к нам приходил крикливый миниатюрный рыжий котейка. Мы прозвали его Котушка) очень любит вискас с курочкой, молоко и чипсы. Что мы и покупали ему каждый раз с радостью.

Завтрак
Переходим через дорогу от ресепшена и мимо огромной черепахи на стене движемся на шум волн. Собственно, с видом на чудесное море и проходит прием пищи - в удовольствие! Читая про шведский стол, не вспоминайте про Турцию и Египет. НО! По азиатским меркам это очень даже приличный шведский стол! Яйца приготовят как пожелаете. Всегда есть жареные сосиски и что-то из местных блюд. То лапша, то овощи, то курочка. И отдельная радость - стол с выпечкой, блинами, панкейками, мафинами, джемами, медом. Там же и хлеб - хоть тосты, хоть кругленький из печи. Чай, кофе. И отдельная радость лично для меня, на том же столе каждое утро баночка то с йогуртом домашним, то пудинг с семенами чиа - не оторваться!
Собственно, и пообедать сюда приходили, и поужинать.

Cons:

Две недели в Амеде - это мало. В таком отеле хочется жить дольше.
