Would definitely return!
Pros:

Everything was wonderful from check-in to check-out ! This is a beautiful old style Balinese hotel . 2 swimming pools , and the grounds are lovely.The staff was fantastic and everybody I encountered had big smiles on their face. Hotel is across the street from the beach (where the restaurant is) . You can rent full snorkel gear for around 50k idr , and snorkel right off the beach behind restaurant . Most beautiful fish I’ve ever seen , and plenty of turtles too ! I would definitely stay at this hotel in Amed again !

Door to the bathroom was old,like aluminum type door that could be replaced,but that’s a small thing .

A Great hostel in a lesser great Island…
Pros:

Un hôtel fort agréable, un très joli cadre verdoyant et bien entretenu, complété par 2 belles piscines propres à l’eau bien tempérée (dont l’une est grande) et de bons petits déjeuners copieux en mode buffets à prendre au bord de la mer !

Aussi le personnel était vraiment sympa, souriant et réactif.

Notre chambre était calme et située en hauteur en retrait de la route. Nous y avions une vue lointaine sur mer, un plus très appréciable.

Enfin l’emplacement très central est commode.

Cons:

Notre salle de bain était toutefois trop grande par rapport à la chambre (espace toilette à la surface inutile) et s’en dégageait souvent une odeur d’égout dérangeante.

Et attention aux taxis drivers situés à côté de l’entrée de l’hôtel (auquel ils sont peut-être affiliés) : ils vous alpagueront parfois lourdement et avec des rires moqueurs (lorsque ma compagne était seule) et surtout, un certain « Dodo » qui a tenté de nous arnaquer en sur facturant lourdement un bref trajet, et qui a fini par m’insulter après un quiproquo… et ces drivers (et parfois autres vendeurs) sont un problème à Bali, assez désagréables si vous refusez leur tarifs, harcelant et vous considèrent comme un porte-monnaie : beaucoup veulent un max d’argent via des prix dignes de Paris, et vous paierez si vous n’êtes pas motorisés et pressés.

Enfin petit aparté, le récif coralien d’Amed n’est plus aussi beau qu’il était il ya quelques années et l’île est très polluée.

Amazing place
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Amed Cafe & Hotel Kebun Wayan! The staff were so kind and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile, whether in the morning or throughout the day. Everyone was happy to help, answer questions and explain things, which made us feel very welcome.

The breakfast was delicious, and we really enjoyed the freediving experience. The facilities were lovely and clean, and I especially appreciated the drinking water refill service.

The hotel was peaceful and quiet at night, so we could rest well. The location was also very convenient, close to shops and great places to eat.

We left with lovely memories and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Amed. Thank you to the whole team for such a warm welcome!

Das hilfreiche, freundliche Team, das (Frühstück)Restaurant am Strand, die mit Liebe zum Detail und spannend konzipierte Hotelanlage den "Berghang" hinauf, das grosse Hotelzimmer.

Cons:

Im Baderaum fehlt ebenso die Abstellfläche, die auch für einen Kurzaufenthalt nötig wäre, wie auch 2, 3 Haken, um die nassen Dusch/ Waschtücher aufzuhängen. Die Steckdosen im Zimmer sind etwas gar hoch angebracht.

Todo hermoso! El lugar con sus vistas! La pileta, el desayuno incre enfrente del mar, y despues podias quedarte en las tumbonas alli mismo, bajo sombra.

Lo unico malo es el baño, se moja todo (ya se asia es asi pero a ese precio podria haber sido mejor).

. Cruzas la calle y puedes hacer Snorkel con tortugas
. Opción de colada muy barata (30k/kg)
. Personal muy predispuesto (en la primer habitación el desagüe de la ducha no tragaba, así que nos cambiaron a una habitación mejor)
. Opciones aceptables de desayuno

Cons:

. La habitación, y el baño en particular, necesitan una mano de pintura
. Distribución muy extraña de interruptores de la luz, y poca iluminación en general
. Olor muy fuerte a tubería en el baño
. Poca presión tanto en cisterna del inodoro como en la ducha
. Los precios del servicio de taxi que ofrecen están un poco inflados (en Amed no funciona Grab/Gojek)
