Location
Breakfast would have been better with hot fresh cooked food
Very helpful staff. Air conditioning
The location was great. The hospitality provided by the staffs were splendid. Special mention to the manager Mr. Jake.
The Breakfast was ordinary and not much options.
The position of the hotel on the front and the sea view. The room was spacious.
The environment was very outdated and all areas were in urgent need of refurbishment.
The young chap who welcomed us on Reception was very helpful, but the sleeves on his shirt were absolutely filthy not making the greatest overall first impression.
Location & food breakfast and dinner
First room given 107 had the lower windows
that were Whitened out so you could not see through them.
We complained and Sophia on reception was excellent and acted quickly to give us another room which was brilliant.
Hotel and bedroom very clean
Superb staffs all round from reception, house keeper & breakfast servers. All were so welcoming & accommodating to our little requests. My compliments to all of them!
Fantastic building
Breakfast was poor - my scrambled eggs were made with powdered egg, yuk! Not what you expect from a four star hotel
The service was excellent, and all staff went out of their way to make you feel special. Food cooked to perfection. Hotel clean and room very comfortable. Everything had been thought about, cushions for the seats on the balcony and a warm blanket for the cool air. The bathroom was very roomy with slippers and fluffy dressing gowns, we had a double sink with a bath and a walk-in shower. Good quality toiletries. Excellent coffee machine with a good stock of teas and coffees, with decaf coffee pods.
Nothing
I was a little disappointed with the bedroom. 401
Breakfast was nice, plenty of choice. Lift is a bonus. Location was good
Asked for a double but got twin. The beds were really uncomfortable and nearly fell out a few times. Wasn’t very clean. Shower wasn’t powerful .
A lovely traditional hotel with helpful staff and great views.
We had a small issue with our room which was dealt with quickly by the helpful staff. So top marks for that.
Food good staff brilliant
Excellent service staff very helpful
Food was excellent
Breakfast was nice although would have prefered to have self serve rather than someone serving hot food.
the breakfast room as is the hotel, is very dated and tired looking in need of paint and some fresher furniture and new carpets especially on the stairs and landings, threadbare in places, not a good look for supposedly one of the best hotels in Llandudno.
Everything in the room was fine.
Well in the past we always had dinner in the Terrace restaurant, the menu was a separate one with three or four starters + mains and desserts, but now the menu was a is an all day one a bit more cafe menu. Was very disappointed. We had some friends who wanted to treat us to Sunday lunch, what a letdown was that ,stuck us on the balcony, the tables too close and could not able to pull out the seat due to a lady sitting next to table, moved to inside the room and lunch was a complete disaster, food stone cold, friend had the Sunday roast, the veg, was half a carrot which the knife would not cut through and all in all it would take hours to describe the rest of the meals, so not a good choice.
The hotel we were told had been taken over and new management,I only hope that they realise that this is a top hotel in Llandudno and do not let standards slip as they have done.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The hotel was clean and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was varied and of a good standard. Our twin room was quite spacious and very quiet. It contained all the facilities we needed. The hotel was in a great location.
Our room, bathroom (and some parts of the hotel itself) looked quite tired which was a pity. My bed was incredibly soft and felt a little saggy meaning that I didn’t have the greatest night’s sleep. We did have an amazing deal on the price for the night though so perhaps I expected too much.
