Location great..
Hotel needs a revamp
Absolutely everything was first class. We were made to feel special for our whole stay.
Having to leave.
Location, staff and character.
NO FRIED BREAD!!!
Good location on the seafront. Great bathroom.
We weren’t impressed with the food or the bars.
Great location, good bathroom size, decent room size. Staff quick to rectify issues encountered
Air conditioning didn’t work and no fans available.
Poor quality food, evening meal was forgotten then microwaved it appears, only thing that was hot was the plates. Confusing set up, limited space in restaurant but same menu in lounge area. No direction from staff in lounge area, waiter service but guests had to chase waiters. Bar staff unable to make a pimms. Long wait to be served at bar with 2 members of staff walking away leaving us waiting .
Breakfast , despite food not being out when we entered the dining room it was still tepid and tasted over cooked, like it had been kept warm for some time. Poor quality of food . Poor selection for hotel of your calibre . Offered dairy alternatives to milk but not yogurt , despite paying for 3 days we only ate it once.
Excellent location, friendly staff, lovely hotel
Nothing
Very nice hotel with excellent staff.
Great food and service in the restaurant although a tad pricey. I asked for a scoop of ice cream to go with the dessert and was charged £3.50 for the smallest scoop you have ever seen.
Breakfast served 0730 to 0930, we went down about 0815 and had to wait before the hot (warm) buffet was ready to be served so beware if you are an early starter.
Hotel, cleanliness, food excellent, but most of all, the lovely friendly helpful staff.
Plentiful breakfast, good variety, decent coffee and nice toast. Evening meal was awesome!
Black pudding at breakfast wasnt nice. Bury BP is the only way to go.
Our stay was for 2 nights on the early May Bank Holiday to celebrate two big birthdays. The hotel is easy to get to and very well located for walking to the main attractions including the pier, the Orme, the sea front promenade and for the wide range of shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms have been modernised and our standard double, without a sea view, was ideal for us. A huge walk in shower with instant hot water was just what we needed after our days exploring. The rooms are peaceful and we had no disturbances, the only outside sound being some seagulls in the morning. Excellent choice and service at breakfast. Our group of 12, including 2 children, ate once in the restaurant (Mostyn suite) and again we all thoroughly enjoyed the food, wine and exceptional service. We will return.
There is nothing 'not to like' although be aware that at busy periods the whole of Llandudno can prove difficult to drive through and park.
Avery think
Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful and friendly.
Good breakfast included with lots options available.
Rooms were clean with good facilities. eg. Iron and board, complementary tea, coffee and water.
Beds were a little uncomfortable. To soft for my liking and a little lumpy. Also when taking a bath the shampoo and conditioner were screwed to high on the wall so had to stand to use them.
No entertainment at all at the hotel so we had to go out and find somewhere else at night.
Staff very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast excellent
Dessert was not what was stated on the menu- trio of puds was supposed to be a macaron, cheesecake plus a third. It was lemon drizzle and 2 tarts that weren't great and 2 dryish buns . The next day we had afternoon tea and the cake selection was exactly what we had for a trio of deserts again the tarts were not great.
the sea bass was delicious but the steak was tough.
