This is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful natural surroundings and attentive staff who make you feel like one of the family. They have the best tips on unique and interesting places to visit in the area. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was super clean and very spacious. I felt taken care of during my whole stay and felt truly spoilt with all the care given. Thank you for all of your kindness. If you come here you will likely extend your time.

The people are so lovely and the rooms are really comfortable. The AC was broken when we were there but she gave us two fans and it wasn’t a problem. The location is a bit far out without a mode of transportation but definitely still walkable. Would stay again !

Incredible farm type property. Fruit n flower trees everywhere. The host is amazing. They helped me with tuks tuks and guides for safari n sigiriya. Wifi is decent but the place is so beautiful and green and serene and quiet. Peacocks outside my room in the morning. Rooms are super clean and good beds with mosquito nets. Highly recommend.

The nicest and most amiable host. She cooked amazing breakfasts and dinners, so I was able to sample truly local dishes. The room was very nice and clean, and it was wonderful to sit outside in the garden. It's a wonderful walk into the village, but you can also borrow bikes from the family. I used it as a base for trips to Anurdhapura, Polonnuruwa, and Dambulla. Sigiriya is idyllic and quieter than Dambulla. I really enjoyed my stay at this accommodation and would come back anytime!

スタッフが優しくて、ツアーを提案してくれました。朝早くからトゥクトゥクを運転してくれたり、遠い場所まで乗せてくれました。ツアー会社よりも安い料金です。子どもがかわいいです。朝食の量が丁度よくて、おいしかったです。自然豊かで、蛍や星が綺麗でした。シャワーは温かくて、途中で止まることがありませんでした。扇風機で十分涼しかったです。自転車を借りることができました（有料）。

I had a wonderful stay at Pride Rock in Sigiriya. The hospitality was outstanding – the hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The accommodation itself is beautifully set in nature, making it peaceful and relaxing, yet still comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal felt freshly and thoughtfully prepared.
All my needs were met during my stay, and I truly felt cared for. I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya, and I’d definitely go back again if I could

Fijne plek met een superlieve eigenaresse die graag en heerlijk voor je kookt zodat je de deur niet uit hoeft. Je kunt warm douchen.
'S avonds hoor je de jungle geluiden vanuit de boomhut. Heerlijk.

La struttura si trova un po’ distante dal centro. Raggiungibile a piedi con l’ultima fermata del Bus in 10 minuti, durante il giorno con una breve passeggiata ci si può muovere anche a piedi. In alternativa vi è a disposizione anche il servizio bici (io l’ho utilizzata per fare un giro panoramico a Sigiriya). La notte sei costretto a prendere un tuktuk perché il rischio di trovarsi davanti ad un elefante è piuttosto elevato. La host è disponibile, parla poco l’inglese, ma si fa comprendere. Ha tre bambini fantastici e molto simpatici. Il marito è disponibile per eventuali servizi tuk tuk, anche alla mattina all’alba. Ottima colazione e ottima cena.
La seconda notte l’ho passata sulla casa sull’albero, esperienza da fare, consapevole che ci saranno animaletti a farti visita la notte (lucertole in particolare).

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen. Nicht zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt aber an einem schönen ruhigen und gut erreichbarem Ort. Das Zimmer ist wie beschrieben: Mit Mückennetz über dem Bett und einem Ventilator. Doch am meisten mochten wir die herzliche Gastfamilie. Noch nie wurden wir so freundlich empfangen. Am Schluss verbrachten wir die Abenden immer mit der ganzen Familie. Am Abreisetag wurden wir vom Gastgeber mit seinem Tuktuk zur Bushaltestelle gefahren und er hat dann sogar dafür gesorgt, dass wir in den richtigen Bus einsteigen. Das Frühstück wird immer frisch zubereitet und ist lecker.

It was a wonderful stay at Pride Rock Villa. The owners were so kind and helpful. Amazing location and peaceful surroundings. Incredible value for money and I was only gutted I couldn’t stay another night, as they had another booking. Highly recommend.

Ein herzliches Guesthouse von einer reizenden Familie geführt. Das Zimmer und Bad sind sehr geräumig. Allerdings war ich alleine, zu viert könnte es eng werden. Eine nette Terasse mit gemütlicher Liege und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück und Essen war sehr lecker und die Gastgeberin hat sich um alles sehr bemüht. Das Guesthouse liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten in ruhiger Lage. Zum Lion Rock ist es nicht weit, man kann auch Fahrräder benutzen. Auch Restautants sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Una vera esperienza di una casa sull'albero. I proprietari sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili. Si trova leggermente fuori dalla via principale ma comunque in posizione strategica per visitare "lion rock" e fare i safari. Colazione ottima. Consigliato

Great place to stay!
Perfectly located in the heart of Sigiriya and surrounded by nature. I stayed here from the 2nd to the 4th of July in a room with two double beds, a private bathroom, and a spacious garden outside.
The property is immersed in greenery, so you’ll often spot wildlife such as lizards, squirrels, peacocks, birds and the owner’s friendly dog. It’s a truly peaceful setting.
The owners are a lovely family with three young children, along with their grandparents who help around the property with the lovely dog. They were honestly the highlight of my stay such kind, welcoming people who made me feel at home. Their smiles and positive energy were unforgettable.
I also had the pleasure of eating most of my meals here. The food is homemade, delicious, and full of flavour cooked by Chandikasamapath, i think this is how it is written! Such lovely person! She taught me some Sinhala words too!
I’ve travelled across Sri Lanka, and this place with it is the best with it warm-hearted hosts who have been the highlight of this place!
To the owners: please keep being who you are, kind, smiley, offering good vibes and helping into guiding people around the city and the country! You are the difference!
Oyāṭa sthūthiyi!

Amazing due to several reasons:
- super close to sigiriya city
- at the same time very quiet in a large property without any neighbors
- most importantly: it felt like sleeping directly in the nature with beautiful views into the park. You can hear birds sing in the morning, we spotted peacocks and several other local animals.

Nice & friendly owners, great breakfast, bikes for rent to cycle to Lion Rock

It was nice to stay with such a kind and caring family. Not only are they nice people, they go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. Room was everything I needed and the location is great. We need more hostels like Pride Rock!

Situated in a calm area nearly in the jungle ; you feel the wildness nearby. Very very clean. Confortable beds, large rooms. Great garden with peacocks and all sort of wild things, squirls etc... very friendly lady owner... décorated with taste from my point of view
