Smoke smell was so bad

I don’t recommend to stay in this hotel!
We chose it specifically for its proximity to the airport, as our flight arrived very late at night. We checked in after midnight, and the problems began immediately.
Upon arrival, there was no one at the reception desk. Eventually, a staff member appeared, but the communication was a nightmare. She used a mobile phone translator to communicate from Japanese to Chinese (as my girlfriend is Chinese), but even with the translator, it was incredibly difficult to understand her. Every time she wanted to speak to the phone, she entered a small room behind, which we found really disturbing.
She informed us that there were no physical room keys and that she had to open the room from the reception. When we asked how we were supposed to get in and out of our room, she told us we had to call a phone number! Essentially, we had to call every single time we wanted the door to be opened. This meant we were effectively locked out of our own room if we left, and completely reliant on someone answering that phone.
The situation escalated the next morning at check-out. The official check-out time was 11:00 AM, and we left our room at 11:10. We called to have the main door opened, and the same woman started saying things we couldn't understand. Then, she appeared with a giant A3-sized paper with a mobile translation printed on it, stating that we had left late and had to pay a penalty.
We found this method of communication to be very disrespectful and unprofessional to the guests. While we understand that some hotels charge a late check-out fee, it seems very unreasonable for just 10 minutes. Since we can understand that, the fact that she presented the charge on a huge piece of paper, as if we were being publicly shamed, was the pinnacle of bad customer service and a total lack of respect for guests.

Pas très propre : beaucoup de poussière partout, salle de bain moisie.
Attention, c’est un love hotel !

Que la puerta del cuarto se bloquea a partir de un minuto después de abrirla. No hay modo de abrir sin llamar a recepción, no recomendable a claustrofóbicos. La mujer de recepción solo hablaba japonés, y aunque era muy amable, fue complicado comunicarse aún con el traductor de Google. Las habitaciones son para fumadores.

泊まりで予約したが、最初から早めにチェックインして、22時くらいにはチェックアウトする予定だった。
22時にチェックアウトの電話をすると、え？帰られるんですか？と何回も言ってきた。帰ったらあかんのか？
すごく気分が悪かった。
