Relaxing, Efficiently run, friendly owner, clean and tidy.
Pros:

The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating and makes a lot of effort to make you feel at home. He shared with us the history of the place and showed us around. Everything was better than advertised, very comfortable and very stylish. A large group of other guests were present whilst we were there but it's a big place and we didn't really see them, though if you are more social than we are, there are shared spaces just for that. Really genuinely nice place, I will most certainly be visiting again with family or friends. (Also, they have concerts at certain times of the year, not whilst we were there, but it would be fun to see next time)

Cons:

The only thing I would caution anyone about is that there are not many places for food locally and during winter it seems many are closed. HOWEVER, the owner gave us some advice on which places to go to so that was very helpful. I would advise going out early to find food in a nearby town or bringing food with you to eat in the kitchen provided with your room.

All the rooms were clean and nicely organised and furnished.
