Magnificent location and staff very efficient. Great views, rooms were clean and amenities very good. Food was lovely.
Nothing I can think of, other than it is quite a distance from the Mall so hiring of car is necessary-difficult to walk there due to roads
Great view! You can watch the whole city of Shimla that lights up like a string of jewels at night. Had an east facing room, so got to watch the sun rise from behind the hills. Also, superb breakfast menu and staff.
The price, plus booking.com needs to mention the "goods & service" taxes in the hills.
Housekeeping started to clean the room next door to me at 8.30am and rudely woke me with banging and vaccum cleaner when should begin after checkout 11am ordered room service food was cold did not eat they still charged me for it just said sorry room had view of a wall but was expected
Absolutely nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect. 👌

-the view!
-mutton curry for lunch & the clear chicken soup were both yummy!
-the staff were friendly
-check in and out was efficient at the hotel
Not so good:
-dirty windows in bathroom and hotel room
-breakfast wasn't very good
-cocktails were not made properly
-communication prior to check in was very poor (I tried to message with various questions - on both booking.com and on WhatsApp) and they did not answer until I sent multiple messages over multiple days
Fantastic panoramic views from the hotel. One of the waiters in the restaurant was particularly helpful and spoke very good English. His name was Ishwar Gard

Beds were comfortable and view from bar/restaurant were great.
-Quite a distance from the Mall and centre.
-The deluxe double room we reserved did not have the view on the photo on booking.com. Instead our room faced a wall! Had we known we might have booked somewhere else.
- Food was average.
Restaurant was good, rest everything was okay.
doesn't felt like a luxary hotel. We were expecting some high class treatment.
