Pros:

Wonderful, relaxing stay.
Pros:

The staff are lovely and very helpful. The hotels main areas and garden are beautiful. The spa is one of my favourites with great facilities.

Cons:

The spa would benefit from an update with paint as there was quite a bit chipped off and bare plaster on the ceiling.

Overnight relax on our way South from Scotland
Pros:

Location. Friendly staff. Excellent spa.

Cons:

Too many stairs to get to our room with luggage.
We decided to have dinner in the bar as we were tired from out journey from Scotland. We were not told there was over an hour wait for food, 75 mins was too late.

Loved staying in this big old house it was truly an experience. Bedroom was lovely great views. Breakfast in the morning had everything i could have wanted. The stuff were very friendly and welcoming. The spa was really good! Really enjoyed our stay here and would again.

Fantastic apartment accommodation, wonderful pool. Main restaurant/building could do with some upgrading
Pros:

Fantastic main building and apartment area. Spa was wonderful also and views/gardens spectacular. Walk into Stratford was extremely pleasant and convenient (but was a ‘walk’ and not a ‘wander’ so be prepared). Apartments were air conditioned downstairs which was an amazing surprise in the heatwave!

Cons:

The breakfast quality was ok but really befitting of the venue. Plus some of the furniture was a little tired. The staff were all very pleasant but appeared stressed and to be doing multiple jobs. So a bit short staffed and bar service was a bit slow. We don’t eat in the restaurant as a result so can’t comment on this
