This Hotel and Spa made our break
Pros:

Absolutely amazing hotel beautiful views of the gardens and bedroom
Excellent bedroom, large comfy bed.
On arrival the Reception Staff member couldn’t do enough for us to ensure are stay was enjoyable. Lovely Restaurant very good choice of food
All staff were very helpful too.
Would definitely recommend and book again

Cons:

We like everything about the hotel. The spa is fantastic as well.

Disappointing stay
Pros:

Staff very helpful and accommodating! Asked for a fan and readily delivered. Bar staff friendly & efficient. Breakfast good

Cons:

No airconditioning!!! Room stuffy and hot - would not have booked this hotel if we had known that there was no air conditioning especially as it was the 3 hottest days in the year!

Pros:

Beautiful building and grounds, friendly staff when you can find them.

Cons:

This is such a beautiful building but sadly it has seen better days. The spa facilities are ok, but not kept on top of broken sunbed, no water in the water dispensers. We had a double executive room which was a beautiful big room and lovely view, but the curtains were torn, every seat had a stain on it, areas of carpet were threadbare, the standard lamp didn’t work. The Bedlinen was freshly laundered but there was marks on one of the pillow cases. The bathroom was spotlessly clean but the sink had a big crack in it. Most of the communal areas were all just a bit tired. We had to lay our own table at breakfast. All these details make a difference when you are staying somewhere that is a four star hotel

Really enjoyed staying here, facilities are great, the grounds and golf course are beautiful

The room and spa were fantastic and the grounds, bar and the golf facilities are amazing. Really comfortable stay and the EV chargers available is very helpful.
