The lovely gardens and big rooms.
A little run down.
The location and the students working at the bar were very profesionals and nice
- Black hair in the bed, on the floor, on the shampoo, over the bath.
- the right part of the bed was broken : hole in the middle so the springs so it hurts your back.
- stains over the bed sheets and on the bath
- dust over all the furniture in the room
- coffee mugs were not cleaned
- we called 3 times the reception to help for the cleaning service : no answer
Our room was not the most expensive one but we paid more than 100£ so I think that you should also respect the less expensive rooms and the clients that booked your hotel.
Beautiful old property and gardens. Hot summer stay, enjoyed a bevy on the patio. Fan supplied in room.

Views and the building itself were amazing the grounds and how they are maintained are exceptional
We decided to pay an extra 20 pound to upgrade to an executive sweet. The room was spacious and ok but some of the decor was very outdated the lamp shade wonky which i didnt really expect. Also we barely slept due to the pigeons and birds that were practically outside our room. I paid extra to have breakfast included and again i wouldnt say this was anything special just very standard. The staff were lovely especially at the reception desk including sarah. I booked via booking.com so luckily i got a slight discount for this room otherwise the full price it would of been would absolutely not be a standard of room i would expect. Also to get room service you are charged £7.50 which ive never come accross before. The spa was ok but very basic just a pool and hot tub and outdoor pool which didnt look to appealing. I also didnt like that for robes and slippers to use for the spa their was a charge. We had upgraded so they was already in our room.

Väldigt charmigt klassisk engelskt. Fina rum, vi hade en hel lägenhet i en flygel. Restaurang, bar och härligt spa. Närheten till golfbanan.
Maten i restaurangen är överprisad. Inget direkt fel men kändes omodern och dyr. Bättre äta i baren.

A stunning hotel, in a brilliant location, with staff who couldn't do enough for you. Brilliant for those with gluten and dairy allergies (breakfast had a separate table of Gluten Free/Dairy free alternatives. Will be back
Absolutely nothing
Der Pool und der Wellnessbereich waren sehr schön. Auch das Haus als solches war schön.
Zunächst hat man uns ein sehr großes Zimmer angeboten, das allerdings einen nicht akzeptablen Blick auf einen Hinterhof mit Mülltonnen bot.
Im Wellnessbereich wären Ablagen und Hacken für Bademäntel bzw. Handtücher von Vorteil.
Der Service beim Abendessen war nicht gut organisiert, auch wenn viel los ist, weil parallel eine große Gesellschaft zu betreuen ist, sollte das Essen an einem Tisch gleinzeitig gebracht werden.
room was spacious, with a large comfy bed, dressing room and the increasingly rare feature of a bath (and seperate shower)
Golf course highly rated, SPA and staff excellent and close to Stratford making it an excellent base for delving into ye olde Englande.
We liked it very much, including the car charger and 3 course dinner - with some combinations that were new to us - e.g. Sea Bass with fennel and chorizo.
Very relaxing and yes, a cocktail on the patio, overlooking the gardens is time very well spent.

I'm nit picking here, room didn't have air con, breakfast didn't have black pudding, and no I didn't miss either.
