- No smoking! Penalty for smoking inside the property and closer than 33 ft from the building entrance - 100 EUR.
- Pets are allowed in Superior, Deluxe and Suite rooms. Pets are not allowed in Budget, Standard and Double or Twin rooms.
- Check-in is from 15:00. Earlier check-in can be requested for additional fee 20 EUR. It should be requested at least 24 hours before the arrival time.
- Check-out is by 11:00AM. Later check-out can be requested for additional fee 20 EUR.

- Housekeeping is possible for reservations for 3 or more nights. You need to request housekeeping via a message on WhatsApp or Booking.com. Please indicate if any consumable refills or change of towels/bed linen is needed.

The building is beautiful with modern decorations. Close to city center and walkable distance to all attractions. Breakfast at a restaurant nearby was good. Easy check-in and friendly staff.
Since it's an old building. We woke up a few times during the night because we could hear noises from other rooms, especially when showering and flushing the toilets. The bed was ok but not totally comfy. No extra cleaning during our 3 nights stay, which was fine but we got only 1 drinking bottle during the stay. Low pressure of cold water in our room.
Good location
The hotel did not have staff at the property. When doing the check-in, we were not able to get the key at first. However, this was quickly solved over whatsapp
When we got into the room, the other bed was broken. There was also a connecting door to the room next door which was open but we were unable to lock it. As female travellers this made us feel unsafe. We contacted the hotel and everything was solved within an hour and we got a new room.
We also paid for hotel breakfast but we were informed on the day of arrival that it will be served at a cafe next door. When suffering from severe allergies this created further hassle. The hotel bar was also not open for the whole stay.

It was a very clean place and clearly a lot of thought went into the whole interior. The room was very spacious and the bed super comfortable. The choice at breakfast was pretty incredible especially on the second day when there were more fruits.
You can tell the house is a bit older and the carpet has been in place for quite some time but on the other side it adds to the atmosphere.
As a big fan of the Latvian TV series about the Benjamiņš family, staying at Benjamiņa nams felt truly special. It was an amazing experience to walk through and stay in the actual historic building where one of the most influential Latvian families once lived. The atmosphere of the house still carries a sense of history and elegance, which made the stay unforgettable.
I also absolutely loved the charming inner courtyard and the modern design touches throughout the building, which added a cheerful and welcoming vibe.
