Spoke regularly with the owner’s and staff, so very helpful
Pros:

Real family run hotel, so friendly

Cons:

Little bit remote but we knew that before we booked

Pros:

The staff were lovely and the room was clean.
There was a power outage in the middle of the night and the air conditioner and fan turned off, but the staff made sure to bring me a cable connected to the generator - I really appreciated that.

Cons:

There was no cellular reception at the property with Smart sim card, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work very well either.

The breakfast was amazing, and the service was really nice, letting us check-in way earlier than we needed.

Pros:

It’s highly recommended. We had a great stay in this place. The place is excellent, quiet environment, accessible (near to airport and downtown), staff and owner are accommodating and helpful. Room is clean and nice.

Amazing staff
Pros:

The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful, thank you for all you did for us. Our son got unwell during the trip and they offered to take us to hospital, prepared various meals we asked them to and were always there to assist with any request. Really friendly and kind people.
The place was also very clean!

Cons:

Not sure there is a huge amount to do in the area but then we didn’t get to explore lots because it was a very rainy week we were there. Easy to arrange trips from though I guess that’s the important bit.

I would never stay here again

the room was very clean. The girl at reception was really nice

Cons:

The owner was not at all helpful. I had booked this place because it should have been next to the bus station. In fact the bus station had moved very far. The owner proposed to book a van for me, pick up at 11am the next day. Unfortunately the van never turned up. The owner had other things to and just left. I eventually found a bus without their help. I would not trust the owner. The location is very far from everything, not a good neighbourhood in Puerto Princesa.

Overall our stay is fantastic, we will surely come back in the future.
Pros:

I like how the place is clean and its location is easy to find. How the guard at night helped us get a ride and make sure we get back safely. But what we loved most about, was how the couple owners accommodated us. They always make sure that we have all we need and give us a great conversation. They went beyond, as it comes with free breakfast but they adjust the serving time to 3am, for us to eat before we proceed to El Nido. On our last day they offered us to tour around the area. (when they found out we really didn’t plan this trip well). They even brought us to the famous hopia shop. How I wished I have bought a lot of it.

Also, we accidentally left something behind. And they were kind enough to send it back to us.

Comfortable Stay
Pros:

Great location in Puerto Princesa, off a secluded side road and just off the main road. Comfortable stay. Breakfast was very nice and served on rooftop, featuring an assortment of jams, toast, butter, bananas and egg. Bottles of water provided in room. Airport shuttle is offered. Excellent service. I would thoroughly recommend.
