Would definitely recommend, although make sure you’re hungry, as the portions are generous and very tasty.

Michaelangelos is an excellent hotel with great food and service plus EV chargers
Pros:

A good location away from the busy town centre with ample parking and cheap EV chargers (I got virtually a full charge for £17 during my stay). Staff were very friendly and the food was really good, particularly breakfast. Shower in room was instantly hot and powerful. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Cons:

Flimsy shower curtain allowed water to spill out of shower and onto floor because the shower was so powerful but only a minor issue in what was otherwise a perfect visit

Super comfortable bed, exceptionally clean. Can't wait to come back
Pros:

Booked a one night stay while builders had taken over my house. Arrived later on so didn't get to try dinner but breakfast was so good, a really nice selection.
The bed was so comfortable and the rooms were so quiet I thought the hotel had been empty until seeing other guests at breakfast.
The outside spaces looked so pretty especially the fairy lights.
Don't live far away but already looking forward to coming back for a meal and a night away with my daughter and dogs as they will love the outside space.

Cons:

One of the doors on the shower was a little loose but didn't affect use. Only mentioning it so the hotel is aware.
The bathroom and room were exceptionally clean.

Had a fantastic relaxing stay with excellent food, very much looking forward to visiting again in the Autumn.
Pros:

Once again had a lovely stay here. The room is spacious and comfortable with a nice comfy easy chair. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is included in the price and there’s a great choice, as well as the traditional full English there’s a selection of pastries and fresh fruit and yoghurts and toast and jams. Couldn’t fault it at all.
We ate every evening in the restaurant and the food is so outstanding that you’re spoilt for choice, everything was delicious. Things are cooked to order, it’s not fast food, so be prepared to wait, it’s well worth it.
The outside area at the back where you can sit out with the dog is a great addition to the hotel.
It’s a very pet friendly hotel, allowing you to take Fido with you in the bar and restaurant.
We recommended this place to friends who visited last year and are returning again with their friends, family and dog in May, it’s that good!

Cons:

The WiFi in the room is slow - at only one bar and was very hit and miss.
A bin to put the poop bags in by the hotel would be handy.
The shower temperature when on high is only warm, not hot, but you can manage fine.

Great place to stay.
Pros:

Excellent location to where I was going. Great food in restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful.
Appreciated room was on the ground floor and close to car park. Hope to return very soon

Pros:

Good price, room size, superb breakfast and very friendly staff. Didn't spend much time there being honest. Fairly cost effective to get to Newcastle and surrounding areas on public transport 30 min bus to city. All in all it was as expected

Cons:

Shower was a bit difficult to operate to get temperature right but not big deal really.

Friendly, welcoming, spotlessly clean and very comfy accommodation. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of cooked or cold options, including cereals, pastries fruit and juices, well presented and well cooked.

Cons:

My one thing was the toaster in the breakfast restaurant which was not straightforward.
