Hog Deer Creek - At Port Lympne Reserve

A really special place. The complimentary golf cart was a blessing The animals were amazing, the staff exceedingly friendly. It cannot be compared to other properties.

We stayed at Hog Deer Creek at Port Lympne Reserve and absolutely loved how peaceful and quiet it was. Being so close to the deer and other animals was such a special experience; we managed to see almost all of them except the red panda and binturong! The shepherd’s hut was beautifully equipped with a Nespresso machine, hot chocolate, tea, biscuits, and lovely room amenities. My husband and little one especially loved the golf buggy, such a fun way to explore! The staff were superb, always smiling and making us feel well looked after. The food was delicious (though a bit on the pricey side). Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d definitely come back.

The shepherds hut was clean and comfortable, cosy and with all the things you could need for a comfortable stay. The log burner and heaters inside were especially handy to dry out clothes after getting caught in the rain.
I really like the chimnea outside and the addition of marshmallows to roast on it was really lovely.

We were joined by some camels in the evening and in the morning the buffalo were grazing in front of our hut which was lovely.
Hog deer creek is really well located, far enough away to not be bothered by outside noise but close enough to everything you want to see or use. We really liked hearing the nearby lions roaring as we settled down for the evening.

It was such a lovely experience. The property was clean and cosy. There were plenty of towels, pillows and fire wood.
We was left complimentary hot chocolates , biscuits and marshmallows which was a really nice touch for the kids.
