The location was a bit out of town, but completely worth the travel. We chose this lodging solely based on reviews of the restaurant for dinner. The room was very nice - somewhat like a small apartment with a separate living room with kitchenette with the bathroom separating the bedroom from living space. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was a generous buffet with eggs made to order.
The real star of Quinta da Amendoeira was evening dinner with Chef Bernardo. I don't want to spoil the genius of his menu, but WOW! My husband and I opted for the three course meal and asked for different meals so we had an opportunity to try each other's food. Each course, and corresponding wine, exceeded the previous. Dessert was OUT OF THIS WORLD despite my skepticism. Aside from Bernardo's good company, he gave us a truly memorable evening and fantastic meal. If we ever do a return trip to Portugal, we will definitely be returning Quinta da Amendoeira for dinner and lodging.

We were only here one evening so didn’t get to explore much but what we saw was lovely. The rooms are very nice.
Local perfeito para descansar. A quinta é muito bonita, está localizada bem próxima do centro de Évora. O restaurante é maravilhoso . O staff muito simpático e atencioso. Um especial agradecimento ao Sr. Paulo e ao Chef Hugo que foram incríveis com a nossa filha.
