The location was great. The staff couldn’t do enough for us.
Superb all round
Comfortable room.
Friendly Yorkshire welcome.
The location is nice, just outside of Sheffield in a quiet area, which makes it a good stop if you’re traveling for work. The rooms were good-looking and clean, and overall comfortable. The breakfast was average—nothing particularly special, but not bad either.
What really stood out in a negative way was the service. We received no response on the Booking chat or via phone when we tried to get in touch because we were running late and wanted to inform the reception. More importantly, the morning staff treated us in a very rude manner when we asked for a receipt, which we need to submit to our employer for travel expenses. This was unacceptable, especially since providing a receipt is something that should normally be offered during checkout anyway.
Hotel rooms were nicely decorated
Cleaner came at 9am wedged door open and turned light on
Booked a Family room however was provided with a pull out bed?
Lovely comfortable room.
Luke warm coffee at breakfast!
Easy to find, easy attitude of staff. Friendly. Made to feel welcome.

Perfect location for my work and relaxing bar area to end the day.
Very clean and well maintained excellent standards
Would be good if breakfast could start at 06.45 instead of 07.00
Always lively and clean, good decor, friendly staff and great food.
Nothing.
Easy check in, very clean, warm room, comfy bed
Need Softer pillows as I get neck ache when the pillows are too firm
Convenient location to break our journey on the way south.
Very helpful staff; we left our wash bag behind and were able to pick it up again on our way back north
Noisy door at the end of the corridor.
Would have preferred an earlier breakfast

Everything was perfect. We always enjoy our stay at the Red Lion Todwick.
There is nothing to not like.
