The hotel and the rules are very old and dingy and smelly
The breakfast included was disgusting
The service is terrible. The staff didn’t give us an included breakfast when we arrived only five minutes late.
The area is terrible and there’s nothing nice in that area
The hotel is overpriced for what you’re getting
We took the suite and it was very small. The shower was tiny and it felt like a closet.
This must be the worst hotel on the island and overpriced. We asked for a late checkout after spending almost 1000 for three nights and they automatically said no. The staff is not accommodating.

We informed them prior to going we were bringing a mobility scooter on arrival we were told they were not allowed in the hotel we had to take the battery off and take it to reception so they could watch it charging?(really). There was nothing going on in the hotel for the whole week the facilities are there just not utilised for the amount we paid you would expect some entertanment even if only a couple of times during the week.

This Hotel should not be listed in Booking.com at all.
The place is lost in time and it hasn’t been any improvements in the past of 30 years. Soon you get in you can smell intense mould and dirt. Carpet on the common area are completely dark because of the dirt. The smell it is completely unbearable. The council environmental health department should have this place closed as it is a real danger to its customers. Inside rooms the cleaning staff are not changing the towels and they not supplying soap and shampoos to cover the customers staying period. When you ask the receptionist to supply those items they become rude and they show incompetence. The breakfast area it is, again, unsanitary, the chairs are falling down as the springs of the seat come of from underneath. Breakfast Food it is poor and not enough to cover the number of the customers. Sometimes the staff needs to go to the locals shop to buy more groceries to be able to satisfy the customers needs!
Booking.com should check this properties before lister into their website.

The hotel is in need of modernisation. We booked last minute so had a room without a view which was a convoluted journey up and down stairs to reach. The public areas in hotel all carpeted but spacious enough. Don’t include breakfast, it isn’t pleasant, we did but after going once, we ate out for breakfast.

And the worst part was breakfast we had to wait for a long time. We had to ask several time for our toast and in the end I give up staff was all over the place they seemed lost
Shame the location was fantastic but the hotel needs big improvements

The heating was far too hot, especially in the rooms and corridors.

The room I had was pricey but one that was almost 3/4 of the price that my friends stayed in had a massive balcony with a view over the beach and had access to the same facilities while the view from mine was covered by scaffolding despite being more expensive.
