Stayed here August 2024. The apartment was really clean and well kept with a stunning view of then ocean. We loved the rooftop plunge pool too which we used a lot. The Apartment is much better than what it looks like in the pictures. Location was also good right near Playa cocos beach which was often empty. It was about a 30minute walk along the beach into town but we tended to get a taxi, as these were really easy to grab and cost 300 mexican pesos.
The host was really helpful and responsive.
When we arrived on the island the host informed us there was an issue with water at the apartment which meant we were restricted on the amount of water we could use during our whole 5 night stay.. The host advised us to only flush the toilet when absolutely necessary and we also had to have really quick showers and limit when we washed dishes. This was not what we were expecting on our holiday. The situation wasn't rectified within the 5 days so it really impacted our holiday.
The pool is lovely and apartment is stunning but we struggled to sleep at night due to the noise from the pool filtration system which can be heard loudly in both bedrooms. We asked if it could be turned off during the evenings but was advised it couldn't.
After checking out we were accused of causing damage to a table and door which we didn't do.
The unit was lovely wit water views from every window! The outside upper deck and pool was amazing!
The bike was broken so we couldn’t use them. The location was a tad far from the downtown but there were options to eat nearby
The apartment was great and our host was very responsive. It was fantastic having a pool as when we were there the beaches weren’t very clean.
Just be aware you are staying outside of town but it’s very easy to taxi in or even walk (~30 minute walk).

Definitely need bikes to get around it’s a good half hour walk from the main town
This place is perfect for someone with realistic expectations. It's a condo (not a hotel), and yes, it is about 1 mile to the center of the city. We used a golf cart and it was a blast getting around. We loved it.
The only suggestion would be a shade umbrella on the rooftop terrace. Everything else was even better than described in this listing.
