Location can’t get more central or the staff more helpful!
Pros:

Excellent location and the most helpful and proactive staff. The hot water wasn’t working the first day and the staff made sure it was sorted asap. Excellent restaurant recommendations provided as well. Breakfast in the square with music driving in from the singers in the Vestibule will be a core memory of Split.

Cons:

Towel rack was unusually high. Odd placement for a loft duplex which taller people are unlikely to book. Still, this is an easy fix and everything else was great.

Excellent staff and accommodations
Pros:

Excellent location right in the palace. Very helpful staff who come to meet you to navigate from the Riva. But easy to find once you have been shown the way. Beautiful incorporation of the old palace walls into the room. Great breakfast. We frequently heard the Klapa singers who were plying their trade in the nearby vestibule which was a wonderful bonus. (But they only do this during waking hours.) It is very easy to recommend a stay here.

Absolutely superb stay in a beautiful hotel
Pros:

Exceptional room right in the heart of old town Split. Beautifully appointed room & toiletries that smell divine. All staff, Anna , Ivan & Petar were extremely helpful & checked in on me regularly as my luggage was lost in transit to Split. They assisted in locating & eventually getting it back. When checking in and out staff walked me in/out of the old town so I didn’t get lost.
