As an "older" stayer I found the spaces all very accomodating although maybe a bottom bunk would have been handy but all good

Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht warum dieses Hostel teilweise so schlecht bewertet ist. Ich hab aus diesem Grund zuerst gezögert das Hostel zu buchen aber hab mich dann doch dazu entschieden und bin sehr froh über meine Entscheidung. Wenn man vor 16 Uhr eincheckt, dann funktioniert alles problemlos. Ich konnte sogar direkt vor der Tür kostenlos parken und die Fähre, um nach Magentic Island zu kommen, ist direkt gegenüber. Das Bett war sehr groß und bequem. Bin positiv überrascht.
Surprisingly quiet at night for a room with about 100 people!
Everything looks new and modern. Exceptional location and design. Comfy beds. Storage under your bed + some extra.
The curtains don't completely cover the bed, so that could be better.
Paper towels in the kitchen would be nice.
Can't park in front without a $50 deposit beforehand for a remote key to lower the little barrier on each parking slot. So if you check in late after staff hours, you can't get it.
The whole building is air conditioned, place is cleaned daily. Good bunk bed set up. Pretty views of the water around the building. Great kitchen.
More dish drying towels/paper towels. Not enough fridge space for everyone.
I like what they have done with this site. The bed was nice and comfortable. Awesome views
Way too many long-termers. Not good for relaxing as most of them are working and are up very early in the morning so there is loads of movement very early in money. Doop continually blipping from ppl coming in and out ppl stomping around in their boots. In the evening ppl were not closing the door properly to go onto the deck which meant mosquitoes were getting into the dorm room.
The communal area is way to small for the amount of ppl staying here.
Location is pretty good with easy bus access
The place doesn’t have any staff sitting by to answer u when u arrive at the door you just have to figure it out with the access codes they send via email and you need to down load apps like Goki
So hopefully u have enough data when u arrive

There showers don’t go cold … must be gas
And there is so many different nationality’s living there.. everyone I met was super kind and tried to be helpful even when speaking English wasn’t easy
When it’s busy and packed it’s a bit of a crush to cook your meal … but usually everyone is trying to be considerate
There’s hot points in each pod to charge your devices and the bed space area is kept at a good temp
It’s a compact living situation with good clean living conditions and comfortable mattresses … so easy to relax once u navigate your arrival 👍
There’s no ice machine…
No staff physically present … pretty sure it said initially between 9-3 staff were at the desk, so if u arrived before that you would get assistance with orientation to property spaces … but no grantees
There are three big fridges but when the pods are full there is trouble having space to store your food in the fridge … and with the hot tropical climate it’s a must have here
Seconds from the ferries and bus station so idea for a one night to get to Magnetic island in the morning then then the bus away the same evening
My bed was the only bed right under the air con.. if ya held a tissue it blow out of your hand. No way should it be a bed in that spot or you get pneumonia. Luckily was several empty pods so I just took one of those . As mentioned no reception mostly so it’s a bit odd and kinda a free run of the place for everyone. And as others noted no idea of the check in and app or door entry stuff but always others around to open a door it’s big and lots of ppl but clean common areas to handle it
