Poor value.
Pros:

Not very much. Close to town centre. The room door locked. Cordless charger by the bed. Breakfast was fine.Thats about it.

Cons:

Firstly the sash window barely opened after a struggle and clearly hadnt been painted for years. There were no toiletries provided and when the shower was used it leaked over the floor.
For what we were charged it was very poor value. If it was half the price I would accept it but we have stayed in other Inns/Hotels for less with far better facilities.
The only staff seemed a young lad who gave us the key and a young barmaid in the evening and the lady who served breakfast.

Enjoyable stay for a couple of nights in centre of Tavistock
Pros:

Good sized room in fantastic location in centre of town.

Cons:

Parking was not ideal in the nearby multi storey car park. Cost £5.40 for 8AM to 6PM

We've stayed here before and it always lives up to our expectations.
Pros:

Stay for a festival
Pros:

Very friendly staff, the location was perfect for the festival that we were attending, they let us check in very early which was a real bonus. The room was spacious and very clean and the shower was awesome! with a fabulous breakfast to end our stay, we would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

No bad points.

We loved our stay.
Pros:

1. Location. 2. Even though we arrived earlier than check in time, they gave our room immediately. Breakfasts were very nice..with great choices. Special thank you to the gentleman who prepared breakfast & arrange to keep our luggage after check out. Big selection of tea in the room..coffee machine and a small gift of local fudge.

Cons:

Lighting: No reading lamps, only a weird rechargeable very dim lamp. Two bulbs were not working on the ceiling lamp. Also the gap around the bedroom door let in a lot of light coming into the room at night.

Pros:

Lovely, generously sized room with a modern bathroom and free Wi-Fi. The complimentary snacks were a lovely touch, with biscuits, fudge, tea and more provided. The pub itself was nice, we liked the board games provided, and the staff were friendly and polite. Perfect location wise and carpark close to Inn.

Cons:

Unfortunately, when we arrived at 11:00 as confirmed on our booking, the property was locked and no staff answered despite knocking and several calls. We waited over an hour before leaving and returning in the afternoon. Breakfast was no longer available despite being advertised when booked, and the restaurant closed early despite being advertised as “Food is available all day every day” without this being stated upon arrival or on booking. The shower drain was blocked, causing the bathroom to flood, and the bathroom made very loud noises throughout our stay. At checkout at 1000, there were again no staff present and the doors were locked.

Fab stay. Good value for money and good location
