Room was a really good size and very clean. Breakfast was included and was amazing.
The welcome was great, staff friendly, little touches of fudge on bed on arrival. Very nice hospitality.
The only complaint I would say was the room was cold, no heating on but there was a portable heater was as much use as a chocolate fire guard. So the room was cold and bathroom. I had to sleep with clothes on.

It was in a central location. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. I had a very enjoyable evening meal and an excellent breakfast.
I was able to stay in the bar area and do some work after the checkout time.

Room was modern and clean, excellent choice of teas, coffee, toiletries etc - even had a delightful complimentary bag of fudge! Breakfast was good with wide choice of cooked and continental choices. Great central location with parking very close. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and great price too.

Had a small issue with the heating and water. Water was fixed while I was there
Nathan and his staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was good and the breakfast was exceptional. Perfect location.
Location is ideal, and whilst it is a pub there is access to the rooms without going through the pub. The room I was in was presented perfectly.
TV was quite tricky to work out how to use without instructions and it was noisy outside early Sunday morning, sounded like aluminium beer barrels being rolled around. Not enough that I wouldn’t stay again.
Excellent…..ideally located especially if you’re looking to explore Dartmoor and surrounding area. Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice breakfast including cooked to order full English. It was homely and quirky and we loved it.

We had a lovely overnight stay. The hotel was very clean rooms were beautiful and the extra touches were lovely. The staff were so welcoming and breakfast was delicious.
