I had a great stay and my expectations were met.
Pros:

Breakfast was superb, well done and served by a calm waiter. The timing for breakfast was ideal. The location is great, next to the highway, enough parking space and a clean swimming pool. The garden is big and the structures looks good.

Cons:

It's cold at night but there are room heaters provided, dress warm for the night.

a beautiful property, but small details detracted from what could have been a +ve experience
Pros:

We stayed in the courtyard rooms which you could tell were recently renovated to a high standard. the bed was comfy, the shower was hot and pressure was great. The grounds are beautiful and you could tell that there is a lot of history that the building holds. the staff were very friendly and helpful especially the day staff who were always on hand to help with any queries we had.

Cons:

Whilst the rooms were recently redone, the window blinds were shorter/smaller than the window size. this meant that even when the blinds were closed, someone from outside could still see inside and light was coming in to the room. The layout of the room meant that this issue meant that we had no privacy. their remedy was to put additional towels on the windows, whilst this is a temporary solution, I found out that this was a common complaint from previous guests which meant that this had been an ongoing issue that the hotel clearly knew about.

Another thing that was not great was the service, as much as the staff were great and pleasant, the service was quite slow. on the two occasions that we ordered an evening meal, it took an hour, on the first night we thought it was because it was room service so the next day we dined in and it was just as slow. unfortunately, the last evening meal also gave us food poisoning which we did inform the staff.

the breakfast times said from 7 but when we go there at 7, nothing was ready. you would need to get there at around 8 for you to see that the breakfast bar was ready. If you have an early morning and you are pressed for time please factor this in. we were attending weddings on each of the days of our stay and waiting for the breakfast service did take a significant chunk of time of our morning.

it looked at though they were short staffed and stretched as it was always the same members of staff dealing with several requests at the same time from several guests.

Prefect Place for a event or just to relax.
Pros:

The Breakfast was average, the dinner was great and the ambiance was excellent. The place is classic, and they could use better Christmas decorations.

Pros:

It was amazing. Had excellent staff. The was one specific one. The rental manager. Prawan. He quite intentional in ensuring we felt at home. He personally carried our largage to the taxi. Amazing environment.

Pros:

The suite offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, set amidst beautiful surroundings that make for a truly relaxing stay. The room itself was tastefully appointed, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it thoughtfully decorated with a warm happy birthday message — a gesture I deeply appreciated. The staff’s hospitality was exceptional throughout; not only were they welcoming and attentive, but they also went out of their way to resolve a technical issue with the TV, spending time to ensure it was fixed properly. In addition, when I mentioned I had forgotten my Colgate at the reception they kindly offered me a dental knit, which was a lovely personal touch.

Cons:

the food was quite underwhelming and, unfortunately, it did take away from the otherwise excellent experience. I believe there is significant room for improvement when it comes to the quality and variety of the food, which would greatly enhance guests’ overall satisfaction. With such an impressive atmosphere and staff, elevating the dining experience would truly make the stay exceptional.
