I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel The City of Joy. The staff were incredibly helpful and warm, and the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel were simply exceptional. The location was perfect—just a 15-minute walk to the VFS office—which made things so convenient for me. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and at ease throughout my stay. Very good hotel and the staff. Location is a bit away from the main road. Value for money.

Pros:

Cooperative staff, squeaky clean room, great location (walking distance from VFS Global where I had a visa submission appointment), peaceful surroundings, good food. Worth every penny, highly recommended!

Poor cleaniness, suffocating room, inadequate bed to accommodate people

Location is amazing

Cons:

The room felt extremely suffocating due to poor ventilation. The bed was inadequate for two people, despite being advertised as suitable for two adults and one child. In reality, it was challenging to accommodate even two individuals. The bed runner and floor were covered in hair and sticky, and the linen was in poor condition.

Pros:

The hotel was unexpectedly amazing. It was the best decision to book this hotel. Location was easy to find and everything was easily accessible. We had asked for late check in and the room was kept ready for us unlike most hostels don't usually allow this. But upon reaching we were greeted very nicely. There were certain points I would like to highlight about the hotel
1. Owner and staffs were very cooperative and helpful
2. Rooms were not exactly the same as shown in the images. Though I upgraded to Premium room from Super Deluxe. And the room had every facility needed. It was super comfortable
3. My booking didn't include breakfast but the owner was so sweet to provide us with breakfast and water for all days are complimentary
4. Their hospitality and service was super impressive and I even extended my stay
5. Their check ins and check outs are very flexible. They have proper safety measures.
6. They even provided us with the invoice of our expenditure and charges which clearly shows how authenticately and genuinely they work
7. It clearly provides what it promises
I am clearly very happy with my stay and the sweet people I got to know
It's a must visit hotel

Cons:

There's nothing I have disliked but yes I would like to recommend them to improve food quality and quantity. I was a bit unsatisfied with the Maggie I ordered.

Pros:

The overall experience was pleasant, and the hotel was well managed by its owner and staffs. even I got complimentary Breakfast, the location was favorable if you're travelling with your family or by your ownself.
It was hospitable, comfortable and lovely experience. Also at affordable price, the facility was way too best.

Pros:

I like the behaviour of the staff team. Only Rooms are quite small otherwise it's overall great. They also gave us a complementary breakfast which was not there in the package. Sweet gesture by Manager.
