Comfortable and easy weekend break - easy to get to from the airport, easy to check in.
Pros:

The room was spacious enough for the King bed and pull out sofa. Located in a quiet area of the hotel. Clean and well maintained.

Cons:

While the hotel facilities are available, this is at a cost - this includes the pool. Getting in and out of the estate requires a code - which means you need to get this from the host. Tammy was quick and helpful with these.

Pros:

Excellent location, comfy bed and access to most amenities.

Cons:

There waa a dumbness smell similar to a wet carpet as you enter the room. We informed the caretaker but he just outright ignored our complaint.

Loved it.
Pros:

I liked that you could use the facilities of the hotel, yet not be part of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Location was excellent. The ground floor patio was quite private and I loved sitting out there.

Cons:

The bathroom door could not really close properly. It would have been nice if a couple of coffee pods were included for use of the coffee machine. Also, I had to request access codes when we tried to enter the estate on day two. I think this could be given up front so you don't hold up people trying to get in as well. However, the property agent was always available, which made the process quick.

My overall stay was good accept the challenges I had in my room
Pros:

I like the fact that I was in Zimbali The Capital Hotel, dream fulfilled

Cons:

Firstly my room was not properly cleaned, there was dust on the arrival day, 2nd day I paid for housekeeping and the room was not cleaned, I to follow up. Wifi only connected on the last day of my stay and I had to always follow up for example access code to get out of the premises I had to ask for it. I know its affordable to book via booking.com rather than booking with the hotel straight but I was bit disappointed

The property is the Condo and not the suites, it is NOT suite 9 but Condo 1009.
Cons:

This property is the Condo inside the Capital (hotel) and NOT Zimbali Suites which are the apartments on the premises. Calling it suite 9 whereas it is Condo 1009 is misleading.

The place was absolutely beautiful...

Cons:

According to the the welcome letter all the facilities at zimbali was supposed to be available for us to use.. But on arrival we were not allowed to use the pool at all, no room service, no morning continental breakfast the restaurant. All facilities were taken over by a church that booked the entire facility.. We weren't allowed to even walk around.,we were questioned at every turned.. Was intimated.. And felt very uncomfortable being there.. Very dissapointed.. Should receive a refund or a another night were all facilities are available to us., as promised..

The room is beautiful, comfortable and clean. I'd recommend
Pros:

The estate is beautiful, restaurants are easily accessible. The host was super friendly and helpful

Cons:

An information pamphlet with the restaurants open and closed times would be nice. Coming from Johannesburg, we are not at all familiar with the area or the hotel. It was our 1st time here, we didn't even know we had access to the beach club or of we could eat there
