Great price for a nice old budget hotel .
Pros:

Great location . Clean and tidy. Quaint and a good price . Does the job for a work stay . Better when the bar opens if it ever will!

Cons:

Parking is confusing . Cobwebs in corners and no tea or coffee.

The staff were nice but the hotel was awful. The photos in the advert gear no resemblance to the rooms

Cons:

It was very run down, shabby and in need of improvement. The room was unbearably hot, the radiator in the bathroom couldn’t be turned off. Some of the sockets didn’t work, some were taped up. The room was small and smelled of cigarette smoke. We left a day early because it was so bad. There was a heatwave but the room temperature in the rest of the hotel was noticeably cooler than the room which was too hot to sleep in, even with the windows open.

Not cheap enough for the facilities and cleanliness. Wouldnt recommend.
Pros:

Good location, hotel is tired, rooms were very worn, the bed sheets had marks, the rooms were very warm with a single fan plopped in the corner which was incredibly loud and unusable.

Cons:

Cleanliness was poor, facilities were lacking and the building was hot and falling apart. If you can plan in advance, there are better options nearby.

The staff were friendly, it was next to a train station so was a great link into Windsor

Cons:

We stayed in room 229 initially and the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and the end near the pillows dipped down so your head was lower than your body. The bath handle was smashed in, mold on the shower curtain, and the tap was broken. The bath wasn't clean. We asked to change rooms and the gentleman was very helpful and offered us 2 rooms and we took the better of the 2 as they seemed to have the same issues as the other room minus the bed. We then stayed in room 224 and the room looked nicer but was in fact probably worse but the bed was comfortable and it was late so we didn't have the effort to do anything else. Room 229's shower curtain looks horrendous, there's mold on the walls, the light is falling down in the bathroom, mold on the shower head. The floor boards were HORRENDOUS, like seriously bad, almost to the fact that I believe there wasn't a full board there and it just felt like a hole. There are copious stains all around the room, random splatter on the walls, the lights seem to be coming off the walls. I really hate doing this and I never expect a prestine environment but I expect clean, we can all look past a few minor things but this was not that. Especially when we feel that uncomfortable everything is picked up. I am sorry to do this. I believe this hotel needs a great deal of help and renovation
