Wonderful property and exceptional hospitality. Would love revisit and highly recommend it.

The restaurant is a bit expensive and on the second day for dinner we were forced to go with buffet and Ala carte was not even an option. With no good restaurants around we didn’t have a choice but to go ahead with buffet

For anyone with interest in ancient archaeology and evolution.
Pros:

It is right in the midst and part of the archaeological relics.

Cons:

Not all rooms open out into the quadrangle. Some smaller rooms are priced the same as some larger ones.

Surprised to find such a great place in a remote village like Aihole.

Overall we had pleasant and comfortable stay 😊
Pros:

This property is in the heritage area , which is perfect for the art lover like me , as I can go and explore the historic sites whenever I want.
Cleanliness of this property is top notch and staffs are very polite.
Thanks to Wada1 , we had good vegetarian food in this area.

Cons:

We didn't like the limited options in breakfast as they are charging very high for 2-3 items only.
The surrounding areas are very dirty and open defecation was there everywhere .

Pros:

Beautifully restored heritage buildings. Staff were attentive and helpful, had a very comfortable stay, wish it had been longer. Good home cooked food for both dinner and breakfast.

Cons:

Minor point, but a small fridge would have been useful.

Fabulous stay and location albeit out of the way... but it was worth the trip.
Pros:

Amazing architecture and interior decor. So peaceful and tranquil next to some of the monuments.

Cons:

Staff in the kitchen and dining were totally unprepared for the number of guests at the hotel. Being the only place with full meals in the vicinity, naturally ALL hotel guests go to the dining hall for meals. However, there isnt enough room to accommodate everyone and food service is extremely slow.

Since Aihole doesn’t have many options to stay I will recommend to stay but find good restaurant out

Een oase van rust temidden van het pitorske Aihole
Pros:

Wat een plek. Kom je buiten de poort en je staat tussen de koeien, stront, vuilnis en 10tallen prachtige tempels. Geniet van deze oase en ook van de vele lieve dorpelingen in Aihole

Pros:

Ein sehr außergewöhnliches Hotel in einer uralten historischen Tempelanlage mit äußerst sensibler und geschmackvoller Architektur und sehr ansprechender Gestaltung aller Details. Das alles in einem vitalen kleinen indischen Dorf mit uralten Tempelanlagen und einer aufgeschlossenen Bewohnerschaft.

Cons:

Der Kontrast von Arm (die Dorfbevölkerung) und Reich (gut bewacht hinter hohen Mauern und Toren) kann einen nicht "kalt"lassen und stellt viele Fragen.
