Pros:

Beautifully restored heritage buildings. Staff were attentive and helpful, had a very comfortable stay, wish it had been longer. Good home cooked food for both dinner and breakfast.

Cons:

Minor point, but a small fridge would have been useful.

Fabulous stay and location albeit out of the way... but it was worth the trip.
Pros:

Amazing architecture and interior decor. So peaceful and tranquil next to some of the monuments.

Cons:

Staff in the kitchen and dining were totally unprepared for the number of guests at the hotel. Being the only place with full meals in the vicinity, naturally ALL hotel guests go to the dining hall for meals. However, there isnt enough room to accommodate everyone and food service is extremely slow.

Since Aihole doesn’t have many options to stay I will recommend to stay but find good restaurant out

Een oase van rust temidden van het pitorske Aihole
Pros:

Wat een plek. Kom je buiten de poort en je staat tussen de koeien, stront, vuilnis en 10tallen prachtige tempels. Geniet van deze oase en ook van de vele lieve dorpelingen in Aihole

Pros:

Ein sehr außergewöhnliches Hotel in einer uralten historischen Tempelanlage mit äußerst sensibler und geschmackvoller Architektur und sehr ansprechender Gestaltung aller Details. Das alles in einem vitalen kleinen indischen Dorf mit uralten Tempelanlagen und einer aufgeschlossenen Bewohnerschaft.

Cons:

Der Kontrast von Arm (die Dorfbevölkerung) und Reich (gut bewacht hinter hohen Mauern und Toren) kann einen nicht "kalt"lassen und stellt viele Fragen.

Maharashtra style Wada where life is on slow pace
Pros:

Ramesh and Prasanna are managing the hotel very well. They helped us with customizing the food and suggested the places to visit and their importance. Staff is friendly and make your stay worthwhile. Will definitely prefer this place to stay upon our next visit. Highly recommended !!

Clean rooms, terrible food, no value for money
Pros:

Well renovated heritage house with 24 rooms. Comfortable and clean linen.

Cons:

Grossly under staffed. Went there over the long weekend when folks are likely to book. The hotel supervisors were doing just about every thing which meant each time one requested room service - we were told hold is short staffed. The Chef did not accommodate for chilly allergies despite multiple requests. On the final day the buffet breakfast was taken off due to low accompany and the food was dismal despite being charged the full amount. It became clear that despite good intentions the supervisors are not well trained in hospitality and I’m surprised why this is pitched as a premium location but is very basic. Booking dot com should relook at analytics before letting travelers rely on its algorithm. This isn’t working well. I would avoid this location.

Hotel super confortable rien ne manque les chambres sont spacieuses et le lit confortable

Cons:

Hotel situe dans un hameau ou il n y a rien autour .on est obliges de manger a l hotel et c est cher Les gens dans le hameau sont tres pauvres et on n a pas l impression qu ils profitent des retombees economiques de l hotel .
Bref prison doree au milieu de la pauvrete . Tout ce que je n aime pas .

The ambience, the environment and the staff shared information about the places of interest in detail.
Breakfast was a good spread.

Cons:

That only buffet option was available for dinner.
The tables either didn't have cutlery or didn't have napkins.

The ambience was quaint and comfortable. The location was perfect, in the middle of temples.

Cons:

The food was too expensive. Also, my booking for 14th to 18th was not cancelled by the property despite multiple reminders. Hoping they will be able to resolve it. No TV, fridge or intercom in the room.

Pros:

Great Property. Clean and excellent food. Loved the ambience.

Cons:

We went in winter and hot water availability was not satisfactory. But I understand the hotel management is fixing this problem. Again, this was not too much of an issue.

Pros:

Outstanding location in the heart of the ruins. I was able to go for an early morning walk and meet the locals, do bird spotting and walk amongst the ruins.

THE HAVELI exceeded expectations with staff gpibg out their way to supply muesli, curd and honey for breakfast.

The room and beautiful shampoo, natural soap products were a bonus.

The hotel also supplied out taxi to our next destination, Hampi.

I bought my father along and we took two deluxe rooms.

Cons:

No chicken products and poor communication prior to booking. I had paid in full plus confirmed my booking yet the hotel still messaged to say they would cancel, yet I had already confirmed several times.
