Ekas, le meilleur coin de Lombok !
Pros:

We stayed for five nights in one of the mountain-view rooms at Melody’s Homestay. The accommodation was perfectly comfortable: we slept well and really enjoyed our stay.

What made the experience particularly special was the owner, Egi. He is a wonderful person, speaks excellent English, and we had some great conversations with him. He helped us understand how Ekas works and learn more about the local community and the people living there.

Egi was also kind enough to provide an extra bed so that our children could sleep in the same room with us, which was very convenient.

The pancakes are absolutely delicious! Egi was also incredibly helpful when we arrived, helping us find two scooters at a very reasonable price. His advice and local knowledge were invaluable throughout our stay.

Our children particularly loved the two dogs, the toads that come out in the garden in the evening, and the geckos wandering along the walls of the rooms. It really added to the authentic and charming atmosphere of the place.

Overall, Egi is definitely the person who gives Melody’s Homestay its charm. We would happily stay there again.

The owner was great. Very helpful. Closest place to outside ekas and a short walk to insides. Yummy breakfast.

Loved our stay here! Super peaceful and perfectly located within walking distance between two dreamy beaches. Egi was the best host and made such an effort to leave a lasting impression of Ekas, he made our stay feel like home, will definitely be back!

Pros:

The host Egi is an exceptional person - caring and great fun!
Nice place close to the main surf beaches and a short (beautiful) ride to Kaliantan beach for Kite.
We have already booked to go back next week.

Great stay, super friendly host.
Pros:

Location - really great location if you come here for surfing.
Egi, who manages this property is a highlight, really helpful, he did everything and more to make us comfortable. He really cares for the place and his guests.

If you can, please choose one of the two apartments with mountain view, they have AC, and good size.

The breakfast choices is limited, but everyone enjoys Egi's pancakes.

Summarizing, don't expect luxury, but it is really good value for money

Cons:

Some improvements could be made, I would really appreciate a kettle in the room (you can still use one in the mini kitchen they have)
There is one room close to the dining area which we were initially offered, which I believe requires some update. It has AC, but no window.

Peaceful stay
Pros:

We like our stay here it’s very peaceful the staff especially Egy is very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

The room feels a bit dated and could benefit from some renovations. A more thorough deep cleaning would also make the stay even more comfortable. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience.

Pros:

Para quem surfa é um excelente ponto para nós nada de bom. Só para surf.

Cons:

O banheiro não tem teto , se tiver chovendo vc vai tomar banho ou usar o vazo na chuva. No app fala que tem restaurante mas não tem. Fala em estacionamento privativo, na verdade vc estaciona na casa o vizinho. Etc.
