Very basic.
Pros:

Opick was a very pleasant Host. Without him it would have been a difficult stay. d. Great location to walk to Ekas inside.

Cons:

After having no water for a day and no breakfast for to days, I decided to leave one day earlier than I booke

Pros:

Close to surf breaks. Beautiful area to explore.

Cons:

Very basic room. They have two style of rooms. We thought we were getting the nicer rooms, but got the more basic one. Basic one has bamboo walls and insects and lizards come in. Bathroom very basic. When showing the water can come into the bedroom. Toilet has flushing problem, but we fixed it.

Nice place if you like dirtbag adventure. You’ll get what you can expect for that price.
Pros:

Quiet, remote location in nature. Dedicated staff. Only 4 huts so it’s easy to get to know the other guests, we met some very nice people there.

Cons:

Dirty cutlery at breakfast. Water not functioning properly (especially toilet flush). Very little shade. Common area needs a lot of improvement. Staff was dedicated but very slow and not professional.

Pros:

Das Personal, also Opik, macht den Aufenthalt wirklich zu einem ganz tollen Erlebnis. Er hat sich sehr fürsorglich um mich gekümmert, als ich mich beim surfen verletzt habe. Aber auch sonst ist er unglaublich sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Ich empfehle Ausflüge mit Ihm zu machen! Er kann euch die besten gegenden ekas zeigen.

Die besten banana pancakes die ich bisher auf Lombok hatte. Vermisse sie immernoch.

Cons:

Der garten ist sehr schön, allerdings ist sehr warm in ekas und es gibt wenig schatten, also kann man es nicht gut aushalten.

Das Mückennetz ist dreckig und könnte mal ersetzt werden.

We've been in Ekas thinking to go for 2 night and ended staying for 4, planning to go back already and this for two reasons, the amazing waves they have and the amazing stay we had. We book all the Melody homestay with a group of friend and we loved it. It wouldn't be the same without Opick that was managing the homestay. He's such an amazing guy, always ready to help, always smiling and helpful with all the request we had to make. A true Indonesian with an heart of gold! I can strongly recommend the stay especially if you're looking for a quiet stay near to everything and to the beach. Opick speaks a perfect English, is an amazing singer and the best Bro! Hope to see you soon again my friend 🤙

Pros:

De kamers zijn mega basic en niet super proper. Je krijgt waar je voor betaalt, prima voor 1 of 2 nachtjes. Het ontbijt en personeel maken alles goed. Mega behulpzaam, zorgen voor scooters, en zelfs als er geen taxi’s te vinden zijn, scooteren ze je zelf naar je volgende bestemming. Ideaal als je wil focussen op surfen, voor de rest beetje afgezonderde locatie.

Pros:

One of the nicest and friendliest places I have been to, in a great location at walking distance from Paradise Beach. The staff was super helpful and for a very reasonable price provided me with a scooter and a surfoboard and organised a super early morning dropoff at the airport. The rooms and the atmosphere are very nice.

Pros:

Very close to the surf spots and perfect for surfers. Good value for money with delicious breakfast. It’s quite remote and therefore quiet and peaceful. The staff was amazing!!

Cons:

Be ready to face nature: a lot of insects in the room; also in the bed - staff was ready to help us (best to put the mosquito net under the mattress directly so nothing can reach you during your sleep), no hot water and power cuts. It’s a bit like camping but with a proper roof and bed. If you don’t mind these things it is quite cozy.
