Very good
Pros:

Extremely central location, amazing staff. English capable netflix on the tv, good ac.

Cons:

The bed was very hard, but I hear that’s good for your back haha

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the attractions.

Exquisite design
Pros:

This hotel was a gem! The rooms were clean and stylish, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar served the best cocktails I've had in a long time. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cat Ba

Pros:

Hotel on the main street with a great view of the bay.

Cons:

One lady pretty much ran the entire hotel, kitchen and seemed to be organising bookings and events at the same time. Other staff members wouldn't even acknowledge your presence when you asked for assistance. This is probably the worst service I've ever experience. Hotel is a little run down.
Generally I wouldn't recommend staying in Cat Ba overnight. The cruises are great but rather come in for the cruise and leave. The town as a whole was unfriendly. The water is brown and full of rubbish. The Cat Co beaches are nice. We also swam at Bãi tắm Tùng Thu, but I get the impression most rubbish prevention measures are aimed at the Cat Co beaches.

Alot better then expected.
Pros:

Food and drinks was good, reasonable price and good service. The room I was staying in was clean and neat, everything worked fine. The staff was very friendly.
