They started extremely good and all went well till I received tge bill which was overcharged
I didn’t like as well Whisky Sour which I expected to have as per international standards and taste was completely different
Romano at reception welcomed us with a smile, even though our room was not ready when we checked in, he made sure we were comfortable while we waited and never stopped smiling and being polite. Felix at the bar was also amazing and made delicious cocktails for us. Cecilia and Jane at the restaurant were exceptional hosts! Nothing was ever too hard for them and also serviced with a smile.
The food in the restaurant was below average. There was no buffet options our entire stay even though we had paid half board and had been looking forward to buffet.

GREAT RESORT. greatly marred by a certain staff member, EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN ROOMS. OLD ARCHITECTURE BUT VERY WELL MAINTAINED. NICE LADY AT SWITCHBOARD, GOOD TEAM AT RECEPTION, GOOD PICK UP AND DROP SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE HOTEL. QUALITY OF FOOD IS EXCELLENT. Breakfast is very good with great views of the sea and great ambiance.
1. When the hotel knows...I am arriving by hotel cab, and the reception knows...Whatever I do, they are not going to give me an upgrade, so what is the harm in switching on the AC and making the room cool and comfortable for the guest's arrival? 2. The hotel should place pedestal fans in the rooms, the silent types. Why not? knowing fully well that AC is far away from the bed. 3. I visited as a transit point only. This was fully communicated in advance, with me arriving late and leaving the next day for Malindi Airport. The food ordered on arrival was delayed beyond tolerable limits...spoiled my night's sleep. The Duty Manager was called and apologized. The front office sort of apologized, but to me it felt like slapping a person nicely and then saying sorry. To add to it, I canceled the food order by calling reception after one hour and twenty minutes and put a do-not-disturb notice, but the senior gentleman with poor eyesight was still knocking at the door and ignored it. My audio conversation with the hotel staff is available if management disputes what I am stating.

The sea food restaurant was great but the house restaurant a bit disappointing
Sehr gemütliches Ressort am Strand mit kleinen Gebäuden (kein riesiger Hotelklotz) und einer sehr angenehmen Parkanlage. Super freundliches Personal, absolut leckeres Essen und eine sehr erholsame Atmosphäre. Komme gerne wieder!
