Nice place, dodgy unnecessary registration process

Cons:

I have booked many places through booking.com. Never previously have I been forced to provide an image of my driver's license and a scanned copy of my credit card after full payment had been made. This unreasonable request was only made after I booked, they instantly charged my card then forced me to provide this information, informing me I would not receive a refund if I refused.

Good stay ruined by the microwave.

Clean and well designed fittings

Cons:

The stay was nice until microwave went on an crazy alarm in the middle of the night TWICE! We had to unplug it to stop the sound.

Great intentions, but lacks substance.
Pros:

The idea of the property was great, & it’s advertised as a luxury getaway. We actually booked this as we had seen it advertised for sale & we’re considering purchasing for a business. The photos online looked incredible, & we were quite seriously there just to see if it was as impressive as the pictures. Sadly, it was not. It’s a bit tired, no storage, no kitchenette, really just a pricy room with no amenities. If you’re wanting to attract people with that price point & stating a luxury getaway, more is needed, or picnic basket (definitely not decaf coffee!!!). It was actually disappointing. Kudos to your property photographer! Oh, the bed was very comfortable! Thank you ❤️

Cons:

As above. If you build it, they will come! Meeniyan is a gorgeous part of South Gippsland. So much to offer. We had big dreams that this place would be perfect, but other than a kitchen sink & a mini fridge, there is nowhere to store belongings, no knives to cut anything of consequence, no cooking equipment etc etc & that cardinal sin of decaffeinated coffee ☕️ . Not even a toaster!

Disappointed, as we had changed to this property from one already booked.
Pros:

It was rural, which made it quiet.

Cons:

This is a un hosted property, which means if there is a problem, which in our case was damp towels, there is no one to fix it. A phone call to the contact number resulted in me having to enter another property to obtain dry towels as the cleaner could not be contacted. The property was not particularly clean inside. The outside had weeds growing out if the gutters and the windows externally had not be cleaned for some time. No pool towels either. The hairdryer was filthy, plates were chipped. The freezer was almost unusable as it had so much ice built up in it.

Superb
Pros:

The room was lovely and was very stylish. The bed was extremely comfortable and we would have loved to take it home. The bathroom was really nice, we loved the spa bath and also having a separate large shower was great.

Cons:

The rubbish rules were really confusing and made us feel like we were intruding in someone's home. having to take the rubbish out was rather weird especially for the price of the room. otherwise we enjoyed our stay
