I couldn’t wait to leave. I had to stay because I had no choice, the booking was made already.

Cons:

We initially made our reservation through Booking.com, but shortly afterwards we received several calls from the owners/office insisting that we pay the full amount directly to them. We found this confusing and unsettling, as the booking had already been confirmed through the platform. The tone of the messages made us feel pressured and even warned that we could lose our booking if we did not comply immediately.
Regarding safety, the property had no visible security measures apart from small panic buttons in the rooms. During our stay, we repeatedly heard what sounded like gunshots at night in the surrounding area, which added to our discomfort.
The cleanliness and condition of the units were disappointing. The carpets in the bedroom had a strong urine smell, and one of the units had broken blinds in both the kitchen and living area. Overall, the accommodation felt unhygienic and poorly maintained.
We were also placed next to a very noisy long‑term tenant, despite the property being mostly unoccupied, with only two other holiday guests staying there. This significantly disrupted our rest and overall experience.
Due to the various disturbances and safety concerns, we were unable to stay for the full duration of our booking and decided to leave after two and a half days. We requested a refund for the unused nights, but unfortunately, our request was declined. Would not stay here at all again!
