Simply amazing experience
Pros:

Highest Mountain Lodge in South Africa - Ensure that you drive a high clearance vehicle to reach the destination. We loved the drive up Naudés Neck. The food was amazing and the fact that the staff kept the fire going in our room while we were out was a big bonus. Loved the whole experience.

Cons:

We wanted to drive the Tiffindell to Tenahead traverse to reach the lodge, but the road was closed on the Tiffindell side so we had to turn around and drive back to Rhodes and then to the lodge.

Fantastic!
Pros:

Super friendly and attentive staff.
Food was excellent - dinner is top notch!
The property is very remote which gives one a feeling of peace and tranquility.

Cons:

Its so far away and the road to the lodge is just for 4x4. Would love to go again, but its just too far.

Worth the effort to get there via the Naudes' Nek Pass.
Pros:

Location is unique for high altitude birding and scenery. I achieved most of my target birds. Staff were fantastic. The meals were first rate.

Cons:

Not much is needed to make it better!

A relaxing break
Pros:

Lovely scenery and flowers.
Pros:

We were traveling on bicycles so could carry very little with us. Cynthia arranged for our cycling cloths to be machine washed fast so they could dry in our room overnight. The team also arranged an excellent breakfast to be left in our room as we needed to leave early. The team was very accommodating.
