Basic and a little dated but clean, friendly and reasonably priced!
Pros:

This the 3rd time that we have stayed at this hotel. It is basic but clean and has all the facilities we needed. Some of the rooms don't have a lakeview or ensuite toilet, but we knew this and requested it beforehand. The staff are always polite, the breakfast consists of fruit, juice, cereals, bread, and sometimes meat and cheese depending on how busy the hotel is. The hotel is reasonably priced and beats many of the other hotels.

Cons:

The hotel is around a 25 minute walk from the station, so a car would be more beneficial. There is a bus which makes the walk shorter, but there is still a walk nonetheless. There also isn't a shop or restaurant nearby, the hotel restaurant is only open for 3 or 4 days a week so meal planning was more tricky.

Dommage que le déjeuner ne soit servi qu'à partir de 7h30. Quand on est pour un déplacement professionnel, c'est un peu tard. Mais de façon très arrangeante, un plateau déjeuner m'a été préparé la veille, avec une bouilloire. C'était impeccable.

Nice lakeside property a short walk from offices in Gland with a good breakfast and comfortable room
Pros:

Good location for lakeside property, short 15 minute walk along country road to Ramsar/IUCN/WWF office, light breakfast with excellent coffee and fresh-baked croissants, comfortable room, check-in was easier arriving during regular hours this trip. Inexpensive compared to hotels in Nyon without the hassle of trains to Gland. Nice birds in the garden including a flock of Long-tailed Tits and a pair of Firecrests.

Cons:

Heating was not working in my room for the first night but was relocated to another room with a good heater for the rest of my stay for the week.
