Pros:

We did not like anything about this location. We were traveling with friends and as a group and we all booked a room at this location, but because we were a bit late arriving ( 6 PM ), they gave 2 rooms away that our friends were staying in. We did not want to be broke up as a group so had to scamble at the last minute to find rooms for the night we asked for our money back only to be declined and was still charged for the room even though we did not use it.

Pros:

Place was clean and new.

Cons:

Owner calls it a suite. It is not. It is only a hotel room with a mini fridge and microwave. It was very small with no place to put a regular sized suitcase.

Excellent value. Well run.
Pros:

Very well appointed. Clean. Modern. Great shower and water pressure. Comfortable bed.
Restaurant looked good but we didn’t have a chance to dine there. Right next door to the Alexander Murray hiking trail. Excellent value.

Cons:

A little bit of noise , from road and other rooms.

Absolutely loved our stay at Roy’s, the accommodation was amazing, the owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Kings Point 👍

Very good, clean, modern. Might stay again but not the back room by the pub.
Pros:

Super clean, modern. Best shower ever. Fun to have a button to de-fog the mirror. Mattress comfy, but collapsing edges. Good walking distance to get to the must-see areas of Kings Point. Picnic tables by stream in the back were nice.

Cons:

Fridge froze our food. Didn’t realize until it was time to leave. A minor adjustment hopefully! Pub was loud through our wall. We were thankful it closed up at a reasonable hour. The guy
was a pretty good singer tho! View of gravel all around but that’s not a big issue with the beauty you get to walk to. 🌍

Pub music comes into the sleeping rooms. Good food but slow. 2 hours for one course meal.

Pros:

Room was nice, clean, reasonably sized. Bathroom is great. The dinning restaurant is fabulous.

Cons:

We could hear the noise from the pub from our room, but as the pub closes around 9-10pm, it was not such a big deal.

Pros:

Staying at Roy's exceeded our needs with allowing us access to our rooms earlier than usual. Having dinner restaurant/bar was definite plus!

Cons:

Would have been nice to have breakfast available. Would prefer they not charge credit card until we checked in. We had three separate parties under one reservation bur all charges to one card.

Cons:

Hotel needs to provide a place to do laundry for the customers. There was no facilities near us that wasn't over 30 minutes away. We ended up contacting another hotel in the area and they allowed us to come and do our laundry there.

Very sorry we paid to stay here - very noisy room all night.
Pros:

The place looked nice and clean but not much ambiance - too slick and modern

Cons:

This was the most moisy room I have every paid for - something that sounded like a machine went off every five to fifteen minutes - which made going to sleep impossible. Very frustrating.

Also no bedside lamps for reading - just bright overhead lights which made reading uncomfortable.
