Absolutely fantastic location, easy to park , Matthew was a Fab host and made us feel very welcome
Only little niggle was that there was no soap to use by the sink x
Good location, friendly host.
Patio and kitchen not the smartest, as mentioned in previous reviews.
It was lovely and had everything we needed
The host was brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make us feel very welcome
Beautiful presented clean and as described
Matt is a great guy made us feel very welcome
Very quiet area and place. Very comfortable bed. Also we were the only guests in the top floor. Matthew was very welcoming, had a little treat and a prosecco in our room, even got cups with our initials on which is a nice touch!!!! Garden area is lovely! Parking is easy. There is 2 lovely cats also!
The location was quiet and easy to park which is a major consideration. We had a queen size bed which was so comfortable and pillows that were comfortable. Owner delivered keys to our restaurant where we were dining with family and we immediately took to him. He provided so much coffee, tea and biscuits and bottled water. All toiletries, a bottle of proseco and a box of fudge. It's a private house but we felt safe and weren't disturbed by noisy latecomers which you can experience in hotels. We loved the fact that it felt home from home and that the owner would have gone to any length to meet your needs. We were served with a tray of freshly baked croissants, three different jams butter coffee and orange juice in our room. It was so personal and we had a lovely chat when we left. In contrast our relatives stayed somewhere else which was nearly 3 x the price we paid and the breakfast was awful, the smell from the kitchen permeated their room and they were so disappointed. We were very happy with everything and hope to stay here again on future visits. Parking is a major consideration and there is plenty of parking. It's not 5 Star but who cares - just loved the fact that it is value for money, clean, comfortable, easy to park and fufilled our needs. Thank you to the owner of this establishment - we really appreciated your attention to detail and your above and beyond assistance. Hope to see you again soon.
Immediate impression is that it could do with a lick of paint etc. But we are not impressed with outward appearances. What counts is the comfort of the bed etc which was excellent.
We spent a lovely weekend in Broadstairs. Matthew is a fabulous and very welcoming host. The room is lovely, with lots of nice little touches - biscuits, fudge, prosecco and the bed is one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in in England (except our own). We loved that the bed is super king size which is so rare in England and was great as we were traveling with our little one. Matthew was also very accommodating with our toddler and brought us a fantastic homemade breakfast very early.
My husband loved the retro arcade in the ground floor and had a lovely chat with the host about their shared hobby.
We had no complaints at all! Matthew noted one of the shower heads was broken but we wouldn't even have noticed, the shower was great anyway.
Matthew was a superb host. Very knowledgeable about the area and there were nice touches like the big box of chocolates. Area very quiet and a few minutes walk from the town and beach. Will stay there again.
Was comfortable
In need of decoration
The host was very accommodating, ensuring that we were comfortable and even supplying extra treats.
The host is amazing. From the check-in to the check-out experience we were looked after with lots of attention. Matt is an incredible host and will make sure your stay is amazing.
The location is perfect. The room is extremely comfortable and breakfast super tasty!
I strongly recommend! Staying at The Crow’s nest is like staying at a your friends!!
No comments on that!
The property was located in a very quiet area. On arrival we were greeted by being shown our room which was spacious and comfortable. We had an entire floor to ourselves with bathroom located next to room. The owner had put a bottle of Prosecco complimentary for us to have
On going to the downstairs there was vintage arcade games which brought back memories of a misspent youth hanging around amusement arcades. I played defender and robotron. Made to feel very welcome and we had a great chat. On getting ready to go out we asked if the owner could call a taxi. He did this and we were informed that this was also part of the costings so cost is no extra. We were given our own key and no restrictions on times. The bed was very comfortable and in the morning we had croissants and fresh coffee freshly squeezed juice. Really personal and great service and the owners a top fella. A stay is recommended especially if you love your retro games. The owners a very warm and genuine person.
It was all great very relaxing
The room was very nice & comfortable with everything you needed in there. Nice touch with the personal mugs for coffee & some wonderful touches with the prosecco & chocolate.
Matthew was a wonderful host & couldn’t do enough for you. A short walk into town which was lovely.
