The Crow's Nest

Matthew was a superb host. Very knowledgeable about the area and there were nice touches like the big box of chocolates. Area very quiet and a few minutes walk from the town and beach. Will stay there again.

The host is amazing. From the check-in to the check-out experience we were looked after with lots of attention. Matt is an incredible host and will make sure your stay is amazing.

The property was located in a very quiet area. On arrival we were greeted by being shown our room which was spacious and comfortable. We had an entire floor to ourselves with bathroom located next to room. The owner had put a bottle of Prosecco complimentary for us to have
On going to the downstairs there was vintage arcade games which brought back memories of a misspent youth hanging around amusement arcades. I played defender and robotron. Made to feel very welcome and we had a great chat. On getting ready to go out we asked if the owner could call a taxi. He did this and we were informed that this was also part of the costings so cost is no extra. We were given our own key and no restrictions on times. The bed was very comfortable and in the morning we had croissants and fresh coffee freshly squeezed juice. Really personal and great service and the owners a top fella. A stay is recommended especially if you love your retro games. The owners a very warm and genuine person.

The room was very nice & comfortable with everything you needed in there. Nice touch with the personal mugs for coffee & some wonderful touches with the prosecco & chocolate.

Excellent location. Everything clean and tidy. Matthew the host was absolutely fantastic. The attention to detail was superb and Matthew goes out of his way to make you feel welcome.

Matt really couldn't have done enough for us from start to finish. He was ready to greet us when we arrived, he gave us an informative tour of the accomodation and made it clear that he was fully available for anything we needed. The personalised mugs were a thoughtful touch, so too was our favourite tipples, and chocolates! The bed was so comfortable despite three very warm nights and a fan was ready when we needed it. There is also plenty of storage in the bedroom and adjacent private. bathroom. Every morning we enjoyed homemade croissants cooked perfectly by Matthew, and a choice of delicious jams plus proper coffee. It was a real bonus to have the outside seating area for a drink with our friends and to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine. What more could anyone want for a few nights away to recharge our batteries? Breakfast was just what I wanted and at a time suitable for me I just texted when I was ready to eat and it was ready in 15 mlns.Very helpful and friendly host even to the point of asking and providing what beer I liked and presenting a box of fudge to take home.No negatives will definitely stay again

We had a lovely relaxing stay at the Crows nest. Our host Matt could not do enough for us and is a star. We had the upstairs room and bathroom, although not en suite was only for our personal use. Breakfast was delightful and nice cake, beer, prosecco nice touches. We will be definitely visiting again.

Location was excellent. Could not be better. Very close to the town centre and beach. Bed was very comfy and the location is lovely and quiet. The owner is brill. Very friendly and tries to make everything as perfect as poss. Nice extra of a bottle of prosecco and cider in the room along with loads of fruit and tea/coffee etc. Garden is set up nicely with solar lights etc. A nice place to sit, have a drink and end the day.

Delightful and the ambience second to none

Matthew the host was just fantastic. Went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We had some trouble getting there and he was flexible and ensured that the moment we arrived that we could relax and get on with enjoying our trip. Great location, comfortable room and added bonus of the garden to enjoy breakfast outside. Would absolutely stay here again!

We did stay there because the hotel i book in not the one showing in the pictures and very bad place,is not hotel I need to refund my money, the man Mathew told me ,booking,.com call me sat 25 may, nobody call me,I need to somebody help me to this,to get my payments ,we dint stay there Mathew recommended to the other accommodation Cintra place,pls waiting your reply

We had a great stay at the crows nest. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was just as we wanted. Matthew did everything to make our stay special . Even cups with our initials on them great idea. Plenty of parking on the road. Room was clean. Just 5 minute walk to beach. Shame the weather didn't play ball. 😕 Lot of restaurants near by. Short drive to margate so lots of options.
