From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

Sahur Buffet will be serve from 4.30am till 5.30am at The Straits Estate Restaurant, level M3 during Ramadan.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Its location is very convenient

Cons:

I have frequented this hotel multiple times over the past 15 or more years, and everything is looking worn and shabby, badly in need of a facelift. Furniture is old and peeling, the showers don’t work properly and everything about the rooms have that old and dreary look. We continue to stay there because of the location

Disappointing air-conditioning at night
Pros:

The room was clea, and well-mainteined.

Cons:

I am very disappointed with the air-conditioning in the room. During the daytime, the air-conditioning worked well and the room felt comfortably cold. However, at night the room became very hot.

Even though I adjusted the temperature to 16°C, the room temperature remained around 24°C. It seems that the air-conditioning was not functioning properly at night. Because of the heat, I could not sleep well.

I stayed at the hotel hoping to rest, but unfortunately I ended up having a sleepless night due to the hot room. This was very disappointing and affected my overall stay.
