a basic hotel for a stayover in salamanca
Pros:

salamanca is a quiet town ca 250 km north of santiago. we visited the city for an overnight stay. the hotel is very basic, but adequately maintained. we missed the AC, given the high summer temperatures. the swimming pool was definitively a positive bonus. breakfast was included, but basic. mattresses en bathroom facilities were not the best, compared to other hotels we visited during our trip. on the other hand, the hotel is very reasonably priced, with friendly staff. everything in salamance is in walking distance from the hotel

Cons:

room quality: AC was not available, mattresses springy and soft, bathroom very basic.
