Very friendly host. Good room perfect spot for surfing north.

The hostel was ran by the lovely Marianne and her family. They looked after my every need. It felt like all the guests were part of the family! The location is great for lots of surf locations. Yeh rooms were super clean and ac was brilliant. I would recommend this to anyone who is going to Burgos in the future!

The location in Burgos and north coast was perfect. Ann the owner and hostess was such a nice lady. The room was very clean and on the beach.

Lovely homestay and friendly owner.

I really try not to leave negative reviews as it saddens me but there were a few things.

Owner offered to pick us up from the other side of island, very thankful for this but they did not mention we had to pay. We dont mind paying but that should have been made clear.

The shower was freezing cold, we wouldn’t have booked this if this was made clear as it is not our preference.

We rented a motorbike from the owner which we felt we were overcharged for, which is fine people have to make a living but it had absolutely 0 breaks. It was completely unusable we asked to changed it in the morning and the owner said its not possible untill 5pm but we were not offered a refund for the day or half day - we waited all day and we still did not receive a new bike. We decided to leave after 2 nights even though we booked 4, and was offered no refund for undriveable bike.

The stay would be okay for passing through the town, air con works and cute dogs.

Lovely and homely stay. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Place is very clean, beds comfy and air con is good. We would stay again for sure. Perfect spot for going up north in Siargao.

Clean and quiet place!

Subangan is a nice homestay to stay in your trip to the north of the island. Rooms are spacious and clean. The best thing is the lady that runs it; I left an important thing there and she made the impossible to give it to me before I was leaving the island. Highly recommend!
