Avoid at all costs! Poor service, substandard facilities and gross sewage smell.
Pros:

The location is fairly central, making it easy to get around Barcelona. Sadly, that was the only positive aspect.

Cons:

​Upon arriving at the airport, the free taxi booked for us never showed up. I contacted Sweett and requested a replacement, but that also failed to arrive. It took a third attempt before someone finally picked us up. This is exactly what you want to avoid when arriving in an unfamiliar city with two children: waiting indefinitely and having to resolve booking issues yourself.

​When we finally reached the apartment, we were met with an overpowering, awful smell of sewage. There is no way this wasn't a known issue; the cleaners must have noticed it and simply ignored it. When I contacted Sweett, they initially offered a free taxi ride back to the airport as compensation, which I found insulting. They then suggested sending someone over to "mask the smell with products." The idea that this was an acceptable solution is laughable.
​After I escalated the matter, they offered a €90 refund. Considering I paid approximately £600 for the stay, I made my deep discontent clear, but they wouldn't budge. I had no other option but to accept. I'm still waiting for the refund.

We booked this trip to Barcelona in good faith, and the sewage smell was clearly a pre-existing issue that was covered up rather than fixed. It tainted our visit to a beautiful city and is not something any guest should have to endure.

​Summary: Poor customer service, substandard facilities, and quite frankly, gross. Avoid at all costs! 👎

Pros:

Great value for money for a family, lovely park opposite, comfy beds and easy check in and out.

Cons:

The bathroom by the main bedroom has a strong drain smell that you could smell in the flat too, so we avoided using it and kept the door shut at all times. The heating kept showing error codes and didn’t work.

Walls are very thin, so you can hear everything, even when people are just talking behind your bedroom wall.

Doskonała lokalizacja, wszystkie udogodnienia w mieszkaniu. Bezproblemowe zameldowanie.

Cons:

Ściany sa bardzo cienkie i nawet zwykła rozmowa jest bardzo słyszalna za ścianą.

Logement très propre, bien adapté pour une famille de 5 avec ses 2 salles de bain, bien situé avec des commerces et un centre commercial à proximité, bien desservi par les transports en commun

Cons:

Des odeurs de tuyauterie dans la salle de bain
Mauvaise isolation phonique, il vaut mieux que les voisins ne soient pas trop bruyants…

Pros:

Very spacious accommodation with large beds. Self check-in and check-out are available. It is an older apartment building; the living room overlooks a busy street, while the noise from outside does not reach the other rooms at all. The kitchen is very well equipped, and communication was excellent. The only downside is that you can clearly hear the old elevator and the doors slamming in the hallway. The location of the accommodation is excellent — it is close to the metro, and the price-to-value ratio is great.

Séjour décevant. Propreté insuffisante, présence d’insectes et fuite d’eau du plafond pendant notre séjour. Gros manque d’entretien, à l’arrivé d’entretien n’était pas fini.
