Pros:

Swimming from the pier at the hotel was great, deep water also so you could just dive in. We didn’t even use the pools, just swam in the ocean throughout our stay.

Room was big and clean. Housekeeping managed to turnover our room every morning while we were at breakfast.

Lastly the hotel gets a lot of points for convenience as we rented an electric car and they had chargers installed in the garage. Easy to use as well, didn’t need a separate app.

El personal fue muy amable y atento en todo momento.
Las instalaciones estaban muy cuidadas.
La ubicación es cómoda, a 20 minutos del centro caminando por el paseo marítimo.

Cons:

A los niños les habría gustado acceder al spa, pero era para mayores de 16 años.
Por lo demás todo fue perfecto.

Pros:

The room was very nice and comfortable, and the location was excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very disappointing - the quality and selection were quite poor and definitely need improvement. Overall, a nice stay, but the breakfast was a big downside.

Pros:

Le personnel adorable et aux petits soins, les chambres superbes, les étages extras, la piscine est top, l'accès mer incroyable, le bar et la piscine du rooftop, les attentions dans la chambre (bouteille d'eau tous les jours...), la propreté +++, insonorisation des chambres, les bornes d'arcade dans le hall, le parking (en supplément 15 euros la nuit) juste en face et hyper sécurisé, les petits déjeuners très bons, l'emplacement dans funchal. Que du positif !!!

Worth it to upgrade to a better Savoy
Pros:

The hotel room itself was nice. The cleaning staff did a good job.

Cons:

The wifi was out majority of our stay, along with the staff not answering our calls for assistance. Additionally, the other Savoy hotels are much, much nicer.
