Pros:

The view from the lanai and room were fantastic!

Cons:

The room had a serious ant infestation. We woke up to dozens of ants crawling on the furniture and in the bed. Disgusting.
We did not have any food in the room, just water and there were ants in the glass of water on the nightstand.
When we informed the front desk we were told that housekeeping would be up to take care of it and change the bedding.
Two hours passed and no one showed up. We then went to lunch and when we returned 90 minutes later no one had cleaned the room or changed the sheets.
We then went downstairs and requested to speak with the General Manager. He sent the Front Office Manager to the lobby to meet with us. We shared our concerns regarding the issue and lack of appropriate response and requested that we not be charged for the 1 night that we had stayed. He said that they could not do that because we had booked through Booked.com (a third party). He said that company policy did not allow him to do that but offered us a cheese tray/dinner instead. He also said that we would be moving to another room. We found that to be unacceptable given the amount we paid for the room and that we had lost
1/2 day trying to resolve the matter. He then went back to the office to speak with his boss (Ricardo) the hotel general manager who sent him back out to tell us that he would not compensate us by removing the one night charge. At that point we requested to checkout and cancel the two remaining nights and have the pre-paid charges reimbursed to our credit card. Initially we were told that that could not be done because we booked through Booking.com but knowing that was not correct we insisted that he contact Booking.com. Miguel (Front Office Manager) contacted the hotel’s accounting department and they agreed to credit the 2 nights we had paid for but cancelled but that there would be no refund for the night we were invaded by an army of ants.

A stylish, comfortable stay in a great location, with an overall very positive experience.
Pros:

I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the hotel – it felt modern, relaxed, and well looked after. The food from restaurant was excellent with a great variety of options, and the location in Funchal made it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions.

Cons:

I didn’t have any real issues during my stay, as I was out most of the time. Overall, everything met expectations and there was nothing significant to complain about.

A lovely hotel to stay in Funchal - strongly recommend!
Pros:

One of the most amazing hotels to stay in. Excellent facilities (especially the steam bath and sauna!), very clean room and stunning sea view from the balcony. I will definitely return to this hotel!

Cons:

The quality of the breakfast could be improved based on the cost of 22 euros per person.

Luxury, would definitely return!
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel. Big room with a view of the clean. The breakfast was DIVINE. Fresh food, always topped up (even towards end of service) and a lovely touch with free Prosecco! Pure luxury! We ate dinner one night too in the bar by the pool and it was also 10/10!

The view from our room was to die for also and the steps down to the sea directly from the pool is gorgeous. Everywhere is spotless, from the rooms to the corridors, the pool area and the gym. I don’t think this hotel sells itself enough!

Cons:

Nothing. Couldn’t fault any of it!

Un magnifique séjour au design Next Savoy hôtel, son ambiance joyeuse, son excellent petit-déjeuner

Next Savoy est un hôtel au design moderne magnifique. Le petit déjeuner varié est absolument excellent, entre salé et sucré, quelle belle surprise, le yaourt avec du chia! J'ai aimé la cuisine du restaurant Recharge, innovative avec les sauterelles, l'ambiance et le cadre. La chambre était moderne et magnifique, avec un sofa et une belle vue sur la mer. La propreté impeccable. Merci au personnel et en particulier à Jessica à la réception pour sa gentillesse, son accueil et ses précieuses recommandations. Grâce à elle j'ai pu voir les baleines pilotes avec VMT Madeira. L'emplacement était excellent, à 15mn à pied de la Marina et dans un emplacement au calme. J'ai aussi adoré le robot nettoyeur, la décoration des ascenceurs avec les personnages du film Wicked. J'ai vraiment aimé mon séjour au Next Savoy et son atmosphère joyeuse. J'y retournerai très volontiers.

Cons:

J'ai tout aimé.
Juste un petit détail, mineur, pas important, concernant le nettoyage des vêtements. Il y avait des agrafes sur les vêtements, ce qui a résulté pour certains en enlevant les agrafes, d'avoir des trous après. Peut-être que cela pourrait être amélioré, en ne mettant plus d'agrafes sur les vêtements. Ou en installant une machine à laver le linge payante et une machine à sécher le linge.

Estadia excelente, que superou as expectativas em todos os aspetos.
Pros:

Localização excelente, junto ao mar e a uma curta distância do centro do Funchal. Ficámos genuinamente surpreendidos com o quarto e com o hotel no geral, muito bem cuidado, confortável, com bom gosto e sempre impecavelmente limpo. Destaco ainda a simpatia e disponibilidade da equipa, sempre atenta a garantir que tudo corria da melhor forma. Pequeno-almoço variado e de ótima qualidade.

Nada de relevante a apontar, a experiência foi muito positiva no geral.
