Servicio espectacular, atención excelente, desayuno... Todo.

Tout était parfait. Un accueil chaleureux et de petites attentions. Les petits déjeuners étaient extrêmement bons et les dîners proposés excellents. Le studio était très agréable et l'ensemble de l'hébergement est réalisé avec beaucoup de goût.
Merci en particulier à Liliane pour sa gentillesse.
Nous avons trouvé que la localisation était très bien pour accéder au centre d'accueil du Volcanoes NP.

A noter : nos hôtes ont su adapter leurs horaires afin de nous proposer des petits déjeuners (très) matinaux nous permettant de nous rendre aux activités du Volcanoes NP dans les temps.

C’est le logement où il faut aller proche du parc des volcans! Tout est fabuleux du début à la fin. Le meilleur de tout notre périple au Rwanda. D’abord, le studio est suffisamment grand pour deux personnes avec des rangements, un lit très confortable, une douche chaude (rare dans le pays) avec un débit suffisant et continu, de grandes serviettes, une propreté nickel, et Netflix disponible pour une soirée cinéma au lit. Sans oublier, le petit déjeuner copieux et très bon. Enfin, une mention spéciale à l’équipe avec Liliane, Siphole, Fabien et toute l’équipe constamment prête à rendre service ( le linge et les chaussures sont lavés gratuitement et rendus impeccables). Bref, Makeri est l’étape incontournable à Musanze.

The staff on site was absolutely lovely, the interior design of the appartments was very comfortable, and the location was safe and quiet.

It is not located in the nicest surrounding of the city, but the apartments are clean and nice and well equipped. Dinner is organized if you explicitly ask for it (may be better to organize in advance, otherwise you might have to wait a bit longer). Breakfast is served on the terrace with a really nice view over the volcanos!!! If you want to have a beer in the evening you have to order it through the reception - ask explicitly for a cold one! (I was a little bit surprised, that the hotel wouldn't offer some). But: great value for money. Very clean and comfortable!

The location is not good .is not quiet

We had a truly wonderful stay at Makeri Residence in Musanze. Jackline, the manager, was exceptionally responsive and offered excellent recommendations for excursions and dining throughout our visit. We especially appreciated the thoughtful care when we returned exhausted from our Mount Bisoke trek—she took the time to listen and personally attend to our needs, often anticipating them before we even asked. A perfect example was her kind offer to have our muddy hiking shoes and clothes cleaned.

A special mention also goes to Liliane, who warmly welcomed us, arranged our breakfasts, and was available throughout the day to help with anything we needed—always with a smile. Also to Fabien, the gardener simply for being present whilst being very discrete just like the other members of the staff. When you get there you know you are in good hands and can relax.

We stayed 3 nights and loved our stay at Makeri. The studio room was spacious, very comfortable and felt like home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Jackie and Lilian. They went above and beyond, cleaning our muddy boots and clothes after two hiking days. Makeri also helped arrange our transport to Volcanoes National Park. Whenever we needed anything, they were always happy to provide it. Breakfast was also exceptional and was elevated by a magnificent view over to the volcanoes. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, our favourite accommodation in Rwanda.

We spent a few incredible days in Makeri. We felt right at home. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and a small gym that has everything you need. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
It's a 20-minute walk from the center. It's in an area with a school, so you always see children greeting you and friendly neighbors. Wi-Fi works well.
