Manches in die Jahre gekommen..wir hatten dieses Mal 2 Einzelzimmer da ansonsten voll, und waren doch erstaunt, wie eng und schlecht gestaltet die Bad Situation ist. Eigentlich keine Ablagemöglichkeit und so eng, also nicht komfortabel. Schade fanden wir auch, dass das Haus innen so runter gekühlt ist, das braucht es aus ökologischen Gründen und zum Wohlfühlen nicht. Wir hatten den letzten Abend unser Dinner innen, da draußen Gewitter. Es war nicht sehr gemütlich. Aber sehr nettes Personal.

Wer nach Aix en Provence fährt sollte nur dieses Hotel nutzen
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind gross genug, die Installationen sind neu vor allem die Aircondition war sehr gut.
Das Frühstück ist auf der Terrasse mit Blick in den Park nicht zu übertreffen. Das Angebot des Frühstücks war gross und ie Eier wurden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet.

Excepcional hotel
Pros:

Todo en este hotel me encantó. Las instalaciones son hermosas, la decoración es de excelente gusto. Nos hospedamos en una villa con piscina casi exclusiva. El desayuno en la terraza del parque era una belleza, la cena en cualquiera de los dos restaurantes buenisima. Todo el personal es muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar.

Disappointing rooms, bad service, overpriced

The gardens are beautiful. The breakfast was good.

Cons:

We were in a deluxe room, or had booked one. The first room we were given was genuinely one of the worst rooms I’ve seen in -any- hotel nevermind a 5 star hotel. It was in the ‘Villa’ aka not the main hotel. It was barely decorated and felt like a 3 star hotel. We complained - it was insane to spend over £600 a NIGHT to stay in this unpleasant, uncomfortable room. So we were moved to a deluxe room in the main house… with no shower, only a bath. Tiny not very nice bath pictured. I’m pregnant and can’t take hot baths. We were told by a frankly incredibly rude manager (not even receptionist) that this was somehow our fault for now knowing that this hotel has rooms with baths OR showers. Apparently we were meant to know that! So we had a pretty small room with no shower. Finally someone sensible on staff said why don’t we just give them a cheaper room with a shower. The cheaper room - over £150 cheaper - was nicer than the deluxe room. Same size room but bigger nicer bathroom, with a lovely shower. It was literally across the corridor. It was an insane experience. So I’d never go back and it was a waste of money. We spent the prior week at Villa Saint Ange which was 10 minutes away, cheaper and 10 times nicer.

Beautiful property, but not worth the price tag

The gardens were beautifully landscaped and the hotel itself was clearly thoughtfully designed

Cons:

The bartending staff seemed inexperienced, did not come take out drink order, and forgot to prepare our drinks after we ordered at the bar. We made a reservation at the front desk for dinner, and there was no note of a reservation when we arrived. We were still seated after much back and fourth, but in the corner next to a table with two kids who were throwing things and breaking glasses the entire evening. The restaurant staff also seemed inexperienced, both with allergies and with ensuring guests knew the specials. Service was also very slow. We were also surprised there was no one at or near the pool to help; we had to set up our own umbrella, which required a separate stand that we had to find, and there were no chair cushions left.

So sad to say this was not worth the price
Pros:

The building is beautiful and the location is great. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Parking lot is large and free to guests and the hotel is generally very quiet.

Cons:

The room was far too small for the price. We paid close to $700 USD and didn't have enough space to open two suitcases. The spa require advance booking even when empty, which felt unnecessarily rigid. The pool is nice but service was lacking; dishes sat uncollected and the bartender was on his phone while pouring a pastis that came out to over $20 USD. At this price point, the experience should match the setting.

Het ontbijt en de locatie waar ze het ontbijt serveerde
Een heel mooi terras gelegen aan mooie tuin
Parking was goed voldoende plaats

Cons:

Het zwembad is absoluut niet onderhouden
Altijd naar badlakens vragen
Bijna geen schaduwplekken er lagen meerdere parasols maar stonden niet opgesteld
Echt een zwembad dat niet aan de nodige eisen voldoet
Badkamer aan renovatie toe
Vele trapjes en drempels zeker geen hotel voor personen met een handicap

Second séjour de même qualité dans cet hôtel charmant aux prestations haut de gamme.

L'établissement dans sa globalité : l'emplacement dans la ville, l'environnement, l'accueil et le personnel, les attentions, les équipements.

Cons:

L'accessibilité des produits mis à disposition dans les douches qui nécessite de se baisser et de se relever systématiquement, ce qui peut compliquer la vie des personnes physiquement diminuées. Une tablette résoudrait facilement cette situation.
