Pros:

We had a nice first impression as Victor helped us bringing out suitcases to the room. Room was lovely, specious and clean. Bed was super comfortable, the view from the balcony was amazing.
Breakfast was 10/10.
I loved the fact that they had a laundry room where you can iron your own clothes free of charge.

Cons:

On 10/04 AM, we informed Reception that we needed an additional bed cover. We also mentioned that a door sign was missing from our door. We were assured this would be taken care of.
When we returned that evening, neither the bed cover nor the sign was in the room. We had to call Reception, there was no apology; the blanket was eventually delivered, but the sign was still missing.
My partner booked massages at the SPA for my birthday for both of us. Upon arrival we've noticed that the massages have been cancelled. It was difficult to understand the situation at first, as the SPA receptionist did not speak English (although she was very polite and trying her best).
After waiting around 20 mins, the Spa Manager arrived and explained that they did not have enough staff that day and that Reception had been informed and asked to contact us in advance.
We received no phone call, no message in the room, and no one tried to inform us, even though we passed Reception multiple times. While we understand that unpredictable situations can happen, the lack of communication was very disappointing, especially as they had my number.
While we were at Reception trying to arrange a refund (11/04 PM), the Spa Manager and Reception staff had an argument in Portuguese in front of us (my partner understands some Portuguese). At the same time, a couple of male construction workers nearby were smiling and pointing at themselves, indicating they could do the massage. This was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable.
Additionally - apart from Reception staff and one gentleman at the bar, very few staff spoke English, even basic requests at breakfast (such as asking for salt and honey) were difficult.
Overall, the lack of communication and professionalism significantly impacted our stay. We will not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Hotel renovado e muito confortável e ótima localização.
Pros:

Desde a localização, á facilidade de estacionar, da simpatia de todos os funcionários, desde a recepção ao pessoal do pequeno almoço e restantes funcionários. Quarto amplo e renovado com camas enormes e confortáveis, zona da sala de estar muito ampla e confortável, WC com todo o que é necessário, e limpeza diária completa.

Quando chegamos ao quarto fomos surpreendidos por uma barata enorme e mais algumas pequenas , dirigindo me logo á receção e queriam me dar remédio para as mesmas ou seja que fosse eu própria a colocar ,,,,,,de resto tudo muito bem

Pros:

Room was very spacious, could have done with a few more hangers in the wardrobe, other than that, I couldn't fault it.
Never used the pool.
Location is excellent, very central everything is within walking distance
