Zuhriddin Ahmadjonov checked me into Byond Hotel & Hostel around 00:30. He conversed normally with me and helped me with my bags up to my room. But then he ended up luring me into a different private room under the guise that he wanted to show me a balcony view at 1am which from his words seemed as if it was a common area as hostels often have. He continued being talkative and I felt uncomfortable being on a balcony in a private room with the hotel receptionist so I politely excused myself but before I could leave he started saying we should watch a movie on the bed and proceeded to turn the AC and TV on and pat the bed for me to get on it. He kept telling me I could leave in a hour but I declined his offer and walked out. He then followed me down the stairs and started saying things like “just stay for 30 mins”, as if this was up for negotiation. This is inappropriate and unprofessional behaviour especially from hotel staff and it should not be tolerated.
After speaking up about this situation, the hotel seems to want to pin the blame on me saying Zuhriddin Ahmadjonov has proof (these are fake screenshots) that I initiated contact with him via WhatsApp. However, this is not true, I do not have his number neither does he have mine (or WhatsApp) and if CCTV footage is examined you will see him telling me to come upstairs for this so called “common area rooftop” after putting my bags in hostel room 203, you’ll also see that I am the first to step out of the private room due to discomfort, and you’ll see him coming down the steps behind me at which point he was begging me to stay and “watch a movie” with him on the bed in a private room and I kept declining.
So if you are looking into booking this hostel/hotel, I strongly urge you to reconsider.

everything was perfect
The true gem is their staff.Fiendly, warm genuinely caring along with a professional approach. Big kudos to the owner of the hotel, a charismatic polyglot young man who pacified me and offered support when my debit card was blocked by my bank and had arrived at the hotel with no money .All sorted out and enjoyed the location and the facilities

Light in the toilet didn't work, there was no toilet paper inside

I pointed out to the staff that the body wash was leaking. He became very rude to me and he even didn't give the water bottle the next morning. Also he didn't send anyone for the room service the next day. \
Please dont stay here you can find better properties nearby.
Great hostel in a local neighborhood. Some really great local food eats in the area as well. If you don't mind walking, the trek into mai. Town is about an hour or so.
Bathroom is a little dirty. Kitchen closes to guests alot which wasn't fun.
