The location is excellent, very central and convenient for visiting Martigny and Barryland. The bed was also tidied properly every day, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing!!
First of all, the reception is entirely remote, which feels extremely impersonal and inconvenient. There is no one physically present to assist guests. For example, one evening we wanted to find a nearby French restaurant serving onion soup, but there was no receptionist to ask. This is basic hotel service that was completely missing.
Luggage storage is also risky, if anything goes wrong or gets lost, there is no staff on-site to help.
Second, the room is poorly designed: there are no power sockets near the bed. I had to charge my phone in the bathroom, while my partner charged his phone near the TV, several meters away. This is simply unacceptable in a modern hotel.
Third, there is no kettle in the room, meaning no access to hot water for tea or coffee.
Fourth, the lift does not function properly, and when it does, it is often occupied by housekeeping staff, making it inconvenient for guests.
Finally, the hotel is significantly overpriced. CHF 89 per night is far too expensive for the level of service provided. Given the lack of reception, amenities, and comfort, this hotel should cost no more than CHF 40 per night.
Overall, the location cannot compensate for the poor service and facilities. We would not stay here again!!

Gute Lage in Martigny, rascher (digitaler) Check-in. Nette und kompetente Leute nur vereinzelt und nach mehrfachen Versuchen erreichbar.
Keine physische Betreuung vor Ort. Es erwartet einem ein Bildschirm, über den der Check-in remote abgehalten wird. Hatte meine Jacke im Hotel vergessen. Bis diese gefunden wurde vergingen Tage, mehrfach wurde mir gesagt sie sei nicht mehr da. Teils sehr unhöfliche und inkompetente Leute am Telefon gehabt, man merkt, dass die Betreuung vor Ort fehlt und auch die interne Kommunikation nicht die beste ist in solchen Situationen. Erst nach Insistieren und mehrfachen Anrufen über mehrere Tage dann jemand getroffen, der bereit war mir zu helfen.

Délocalisé au motel des sports pour cause de chambre finalement inutilisable de manière imprévue. Le personnel a été très réactif et a anticipé la réservation dans cet autre hôtel très bien situé géographiquement et qui correspondait à mes attentes.

Op een kamer werkte de WC niet, na verhuizing naar andere kamer was er een hoofdkussen voor 2 personen. Geen tel. nr. op kamer om contact op te nemen met receptie, dus daarvoor moet je iedere keer naar beneden om met een receptioniste op een scherm te praten.
