Good location
Shower head needing descaling water didnt come out properly
No hot water in morning had to endure cold shower although i sent message to mobile no that was down for emergencies no one replied sent email also still no one bothered to reply or apologise
Very clean and value for money
Slight problem with heating in the room which eventually got sorted. But the bathroom was freezing . Too uncomfortably cold .
Beds were clean although a little small.
Bathroom although separate from the room was immaculate, although taps only dispensed for the shower not the bath??
Staff friendly on arrival and early check in
Twin room was disappointing with a child's safety rail on one which had a raw edge.
They also creaked a lot.
Traffic noise really quite loud through the old and somewhat worn sash windows.
Emergency lighting lit up the whole room making it difficult to sleep - should be far more discreet in such a small room.
In the high street
Very dated rooms. Bad lighting, uncomfortable bed and the window didn’t open. TV didn’t work.
Breakfast was perfect - good selection on offer. Location excellent, in the middle of Long Melford. I loved my room in a little house next door to the main pub and opening straight onto the street
Nothing!
The karaoke night was very noisy, but it was before a wedding.
The location was perfect, nicely located for the event I was attending. The village itself was lovely and the locals were friendly.
The breakfast was delicious 😋
I stayed in the room with the twin beds as initially was expecting there to be two of us. The beds were quite uncomfortable. Too hard for my liking but that's not to say another person may prefer that.
