Lage war super und es gab viele Möglichkeiten den Aufenthalt persönlich zu gestalten. (Surfen,Yoga, Cafe, Relax)

Pros:

This was our second stop on our Sri Lanka trip and wow we absolutely loved it at Blue Waves. The views from the bedroom and falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing was just perfect! We also recommend the surf lessons from the team. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly. Facilities were great and location was close by to local restaurants and bars. Can’t wait to return 🏄🏽‍♀️

Das Hotel an sich und die Ausstattung sind sehr schön.

Cons:

Wir haben das Hotel gebucht um unsere surfing skills zu verbessern und das Programm zu nutzen. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen hier überhaupt nicht erfüllt. Es ist alles sehr unstrukturiert und die Zeiten der Surfstunden werden erst am Abend davor kommuniziert. Viele Stunden erst ab 10 wenn die meisten Leute auf dem Board sind. Hinzu kommt, dass eine Stunde in der Gruppe (bei uns 4-6 Personen) 65€ gekostet hat. Extrem teuer und mit Guides die nicht mal richtig englisch konnten. Auf dem Video Material waren dann nicht mal die Versuche, sondern nur die Wellen die komplett gesurft wurden. Fokus lag hier mehr darauf die eigenen Freundinnen zu filmen. Nachdem während unseres Aufenthaltes nur einmal das Eisbaden angeboten wurde und Yoga auch ausgefallen ist (15€ zusätzliche). Wollten wir den Tag im schönen Außenbereich nutzen. Meisten sind die Liegen hier aber von externen Leuten besetzt die einfach die Anlage nutzen, was auch nicht kontrolliert wird.

Incroyable séjour dans un lieu magnifique. Vue splendide !
Pros:

La vue de puis notre chambre était sublime, le diner sur place était délicieux avec des poissons parfaitement cuisinés, les petits déjeuners sur la terrasses, la décoration si jolie et le personnel agréable et serviable. Nous recommandons fortement.

Cons:

Pour le dîner ou petit déjeuner le serveur nous pressait un peu, pas très agréable

Great view
Pros:

- Location was amazing to have the ocean view both out of your room and whilst chilling in the day on the beanbags (v comfy!!!)
- The room is really clean and shower is powerful which was very welcome after a few weak showers!

Cons:

- The road noise from our room was loud - some noise is expected given the location but there’s very little insulation from the doors which meant you woke up at 5:45 as the bakery van went down the road.
- It feels like its not sure between a hostel and a hotel. The price is high yet the experience leans more hostel style - the dinner is only available as a “community” meal but beyond that there wasn’t much effort to create a real sense of community unless you are on the package where they are clearly in their group
- The add-ons like surf lessons and yoga are also priced quite high compared to similar places nearby.
- The cafe is a good spot with great coffee (apparently a champion barista!) with amazing food but what’s included in the breakfast is very basic rather than whats available in the cafe

al momento della prenotazione è chiaramente indicato che l'importo verrà saldato al momento del check in. eppure appena fatta la prenotazione l'hotel richiede un pagamento esterno a booking tramite link. sinceramente è una cosa inaccettabile. inoltre il rapporto qualità prezzo è scadente, siamo in sri lanka e non a dubai e la qualità non è allineata al prezzo

Great spot for surfers with break out the front for the more advanced surfers and awesome surf guide
Pros:

We loved the balcony overlooking the surf break and the proximity to Devils Rock surf break.
On the outskirts of town but east to get friendly tuk tuk rides out the front.
Fantastic surf lessons/guiding. Mathi, Avi and Jay were fantastic especially with my kids.

Cons:

No tea/coffee facilities in the room and brekkie/cafe doesn’t open until 8 am.
Would love a few more drink/snack options for the evening sunset sessions and music to improve atmosphere.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, toller eigener Strandabschnitt, super schönes Café, wirklich ganz toll :)

Cons:

Die Hauptstraße, der die Unterkunft liegt ist relativ laut, das muss man wissen & ggf Ohrstöpsel einpacken

Pros:

The property was the most beautiful honeymoon place we could have wished for, staff went above and beyond, the sea view from the hotel room made the stay and was out this world. The speciality coffee in the on site cafe / restaurant was absolutely A* and really enjoyed the in house breakfast and also the on menu breakfast. Thankyou all for an incredible stay - we will be coming back, cant recommend this place enough!!!!

Cons:

If I’m being picky, I’d have loved a mini fridge in the room to keep our water cold, but that’s me being picky! Great job guys keep up the hard work.

Pros:

El ambiente, el personal, el bar, la zona de relax, la habitación y las vistas. La verdad que es un hotel para quedarte una semana y estar a gustisimo. Además tienen una comunidad y planes que dan gusto. Diría que de lo mejor que hay por ahí. Ah y se ven tortugas desde el hotel muy fácilmente

Cons:

La única pega que se puede poner, por ser quisquilloso, por la ventana se cuelan bichillos y el baño las puertas no se cerraban
