It is close to the airport. It's easy to commute. There is a lift to move my luggage to level 4. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The facility is old. I went inside two rooms, and both room's fridges were off and old. The toilet facility is already oxidised. I booked a room with a balcony, but they allocated me to the room next to the fire exit path, and if I wanted a room with a decent view of the city, then I needed to pay extra money for it which I believe a bit disappointing. However, the price tells everything.
The location is excellent, especially if you have an early flight to catch. Even with high traffic, it takes no more than 30 minutes to get to the airport, which made our travel stress-free. There are also plenty of amenities nearby, with supermarkets like Tops Market Au Co and Bach Hoa Xanh just 500-600 meters away. The area is full of restaurants and coffee shops.
The staff were outstanding - very friendly and eager to help. They assisted us with our luggage and even provided a scale so we could weigh our bags before heading to the airport.
The only downside was the lack of complementary water bottles or a kettle to boil water, which would have been a nice addition. However, this was a minor inconvenience as I believe hotel amenities such as kettles/hair dryers ... can be borrowed from reception.
Good for a short time. Sleeper bus station was walking distance. They have hour rates also if you staying for only 2 or 3 hrs.
Parking and location.
Paid for a room with windows, then upgraded to a bigger room for one night and somehow got downgraded to a room without a window for the last night. I am owed money
This hotel for value offers a clean room, good customer service with knowledgable English speaking reception guides. We were looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay for our first night in Vietnam before we flew out the next morning to Phu Quoc. This is not the part of town that tourists normally go, but I think it should be considered as the food at some of the local venues is the best we've had in Vietnam. It is what the star ratings say it is but we found it very enjoyable.
