Pros:

The location is great. Close to Beacon Hill Park. Dallas Road. Inner Harbour. Downtown shops, cafes and restaurants.

The room was spacious and clean. Nice size kitchen and sitting area. You hear a lot of road noise, sirens. But expected in the city.

Cons:

We were on the 2nd floor and could hear the people above us banging around. Thumping their feet early morning and late night.

Everything we needed, clean, comfortable, and a great location.
Pros:

Check in was easy and fast. The suite had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. It's great location just up a back street from the inner harbour with easy walking to everywhere in the downtown.

Cons:

The kitchen knives were dull and it was missing a couple dishes, but overall that didn't affect us much.

Very clean and well equipped units. Convenient location!

Cons:

Sofa bed pulled out but did not prop up. It was not a big deal as my child slept fine.

Pros:

The hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to all downtown attractions—no need to drive at all. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. I had a great stay and really enjoyed my time in Victoria.

Cons:

The only issue was that the toilet flushing was a bit weak.

We had a great stay, nice hot clean showers, room was fully equipped.
Pros:

Location was great. Close to Beacon park, you can walk to the ocean in 20 min.
You can walk to the harbour in 10 min
Museum 7 min so much around

Cons:

The coffee in my room, but the one in the lobby was good

Home away from home.
Pros:

Good dependable value in a great location walkable to so many interesting attractions. It's also our third time staying at Helm's Inn. Expect a fourth visit in the near future.

The cozy little hotel is perfect for a trip to Victoria.
Pros:

The hotel was catty corner from Beacon Hill Park. Despite looking further from the Inner Harbor on the map, it was very close and a quick walk. The full kitchen saved us money by allowing us to eat breakfast and one dinner in. The separate bedroom and living room/kitchen allowed our child to go to bed before us.

Pros:

Perfect location as it is walking distance to most tourist sites and a park.

Cons:

We booked 2 rooms but they provided it in different floors. Parking is also for a fee.

Get ready to walk outside in the cold to find your room in another building and climb stairs before they don’t have elev

Cons:

No elevator we have to carry our heavy suitcase up and down, besides that we have to walk outside to find out room in another building. $20 for parking !!The parking area is small and on the open street, so park at your own risk.
