room: bedroom separate from living room which was great for us, living room sofa is a pull out bed if needed
kitchen: had everything we needed - two burner, fridge, plates/bowls, cutlery, basic utensils, washing up bowl etc
building: seem to be 3 separate buildings, 2/3 stories high, so it doesn't feel like a nameless hotel, nor is it 'cosy'. It's comfortable, clean, and very well kept. Parking available. Excellent value for money.

We have stayed a few times at the Helms Inn when we have visited Victoria. The hotel is spacious and very clean and the kitchen in each suite is an added bonus. The best part is the location as it is walking distance to all the attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Location is ideal for exploring downtown Victoria. Building old but very clean and comfortable. Room has full kitchen very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff very friendly and helpful.
No elevator but really not a big deal for us as we can do stairs.
The room was clean and comfortable. There was a small kitchen with everything you need. The bathroom was large with a large shower.
